Great value. Pistol grip is at a good angle for straight trigger pull. That is the main reason I opted for this stock over other makes. Comes with extras that are a nice addition. The QD holes take the Magpul QD Sling Swivel Quick Detach Push-Button Sling Ring for Rifles. The action cavity is Tight at first. The opening for the magazine may require a little filing to make insertion and releasing easier, but anyone can easily accomplish the task if need be.

The stock was as stated and arrived in a timely manner. I will buy again ftom Buds.

Watched the installation video prior to Installing my Ruger 10/22 on this stock. The video made the installation a simple process. Fit was perfect and tight which made the rifle rigid and is needed for accuracy. There’s no flexing. It’s a bit heavy which helps reduce recoil. The adjustable cheek riser and length of pull made shooting the rifle very comfortable and perfect for me! I love this stock!

This stock exceeded all expectations. It is solid, well built and spec'd tight. As others have noted, inserting the receiver is a tight fit, work it and it will go. They have thought of all the little details.. best 3rd party syn stock I have bought.

I bought this for a ground - up 10/22 build. It arrived sealed in its clam packaging sealed in its original box, then packaged and shipped in a box from Bud's. I like that. I've been burned buying stocks elsewhere and when they arrived they weren't in their own packaging, and some were damaged, others had parts missing... so I like the double original sealed packaging. The stock itself is made from what Archangel calls "Technapolymer", which they say is polymer reinforced with carbon fiber. Whatever it is, it's strong and surprisingly hard. I have other brands of synthetic stocks and the material the Archangels are made from is definitely the hardest. It's also extremely rigid but doesn't seem to add a lot of weight to the rifle. The adjustments for the cheek rest and length of pull work very well and are solid, it takes some effort to get the adjuster wheels to move but you know they're not going to be knocked out of adjustment. The grip has a well proportioned palm swell and a comfortable angle. There's a little compartment in the grip, I use it to store a rag and an allen wrench. As for fit, the stock arrived with a disposable form inserted into the receiver inletting, to ensure the stock held its shape in storage and transport. Fitting the barreled action into the receiver is tight, but not to the degree that it requires force. It fits like it was made for this individual rifle. Archangel says that the stock will continue to conform itself for weeks after installation, and I've had this stock for a bit over a month and it does fit even more closely than it did when new. In fact, although it doesn't require any force to fit to this rifle, the other four 10/22's I own will either NOT fit into the stock, or if they do fit, their fit is just...off. My barrel is perfectly centered within the barrel channel. Magazines don't drop freely when released. They take a tiny bit of effort to get out. I'm prohibited from using anything over 10 rounds, so I got a HTA magazine coupler to couple two together. They protrude down under the stock enough to make their removal easy. I could sand the mag well but I don't want to remove any material. The ergonomics are wonderful, it's VERY comfortable, between the adjustable length of pull and the adjustable cheek rest. I have yet to experiment with the adjustable barrel support/tuner. I'm using an 18" Green Mountain heavy barrel with this build, and together with this stock the rifle is producing groups a little smaller than a nickel at 50 yards. I haven't experimented with ammo yet to see if I can get it to shoot tighter. I'm extremely happy with this stock, and I'm impressed with its quality. I'm already planning to buy another for my next build. Highly recommended.

I read a few comments that these stocks were overly tight. I found the fit to be quite good. It's tight, but you don't have to pound it in or out. The obvious features of adjustable length of pull and cheek rest height are great. The pistol grip shape fills the hand and is very comfortable. The barrel channel fits my bull barrel with a close but free-floating fit. Overall, this rifle stock is a very good value. Highly recommended.

Excellent stock. Really improves the handling of the 10/22. Only issue is the factory 10 round mag is a little hard to remove, but the longer, higher capacity mags are a breeze. Bud's is the best.
