CMMG Inc. MK9LE 9mm Luger Semi Automatic Rifle - Blue/Black, 16" Barrel, 32+1 Rounds, Synthetic, Collapsible Stock

After a good cleanup with the provided cleaner/lubricant gun shot great. Good tight solid weapon. I Have shot plenty of factory and personal reloads, FMJ , HP with no issues. Accurate and fun to shot. Added the lifetime warrantee & free shipping to my tab for peace of mind. It’s my first CCMG and I’m sure there will be more. Solid magazine made by ASC ordered a few more as only one comes with the original order. I suggest picking up a magazine assist loader made by Maglula to save on the fingers loading a 32 round Mag.

This carbine is a very fun to shoot and super reliable. This is my 3rd one. My only thing I can recommend is getting a metal form magazine instead of the one that CMMG included now. CMMG use to include metal form magazines. But they have since gone to a cheaper quality magazine. But the magazine that comes with them now are out of spec and do not find the mag wells. But CMMG knows most people will just run after market mags.

As typical for me, another good transaction with Bud's. The rifle was examined before completing the FFL transfer. No problems noted with the fit and finish. The rifle was dry as far as lubrication is concerned and slight barrel residue from the factory test firing. Once home, the rifle was disassembled, cleaned and lubricated. The magazine that came with the rifle was disassembled and lubricated as well. I dislike the low end milspec 6 position stock but that will be remedied quickly and the hand guard diameter is larger than it needs to be. I have a spare similar hand guard that had a smaller diameter and I'll swap them. As far as the rear sight, I have the same Magpul polymer flip up rear sight on another AR I own and have not had an issue with it. I knew this was a base model carbine from CMMG and would modify it as I have with other factory AR's I've purchased. Overall I am pleased with the carbine and will test fire this Saturday 04.27.19 at Pearland Shooting Club. I'll update this post afterwards.

This is a great little carbine. Shot perfectly out of the box, no FTF or FTEs with 250 rounds. To say the least, it was a jewel to shoot. Since it's recoil operated, the receiver was still fairly clean afterwards. A definite keeper with the lower cost of 9mm v. .223, a bonus to the pocketbook too. I'd give it 11/10.

If you have ever owned an AR-15 in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington, then you know that they are super fun to shoot. But, they can get really expensive to shoot. Even though .223 Remington ammunition has come down in price, the 9mm Luger is still way cheaper to shoot. So, if you want to spend to a whole day at the range for cheap, then the CMMG Mk9LE in 9mm Luger is the way to go! Seriously. It handles just like any other AR-15 you've ever handled or owned, but it is in 9mm Luger. It is recoil operated, not gas operated. So, there's no gas tube. You can swap out the handguards with any drop-in 2 piece handguards out there. The flash hider is threaded for 1/2-36. You can easily replace the grip and stock with any others you may want. The buffer tube is commercial, not MIL-SPEC. The magazine well is a dedicated 9mm Luger magazine well, and not a flimsy and unreliable conversion kit. It uses Colt SMG-type 32-round magazines. The included magazine is made by ASC. I bought a bunch of more magazines because the CMMG Mk9LE is a hungry boy. You'll be surprised how fast you can go through ammunition shooting this rifle. No kidding! It's soft shooting and not that loud, so, this would be a great rifle to use to introduce new shooters to the sport. It's a blast to shoot. Not that many 9mm carbines being made so Iwas somewhat hesitant buying this one. Not many reviews either. That said I am completely satisfied with this carbine. Solid weapon and and very well made. I've added a few things to it like a tactical light and scope. The only issue I've had with this carbine is when you load the magazine. It's nearly impossible to load a full mag with the bolt closed. But with the bolt open no problem at all. Great for plinking and small game. Very happy overall with this carbine,

Great little rifle. Put 100 rounds through it first day. No problems at all. This gun is tack driver. Great service from Buds as usual.

Awesome 9mm. built right. dead on at 50 yds. Awesome rifle would recommend to anyone looking for a colt replacement.

I waited until I had run at least 500 rounds through the rifle before writing this review. I can say that I had no issues with ammo, although I have not used but two brands, I love this rifle and the fact that it is a plinker. The weight and feel is the same as my Colt 6920. The magazines are expensive, more so than 556 mags. The rifle is well worth the price I paid and I plan to shoot it every weekend.
