Polymer Frame w/ Rail

The “Baby” of the Desert Eagle family offers an excellent handgun value and plenty of firepower. The grip design is exceptionally comfortable and well liked by shooters. Since 2008 the Baby Desert Eagle was no longer imported into the US, however beginning again in 2011 with the acquisition of Magnum Research by Kahr Arms we are excited to bring this popular firearm back to the US market.
Trigger action of the Baby Desert Eagle pistol is double action/single action (DA/SA) and is available in three popular calibers (9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP) and several barrel lengths. The Baby Desert Eagle pistol is available in either a steel frame or a polymer frame with a black finish. The steel frames and slides are produced from high quality carbon steel with an attractive matte black oxide finish. Full size and semi-compact models feature a tactical rail for optional lasers and/or flashlights. All models come with a slide mounted decocking safety with dual levers and upgraded fixed combat sights with three white dots. The rear sight is well designed in appearance and is snag free.

I bought this gun when it was on sale for something less than $330. It is Magnum Research marked but it actually manufactured by IWI in Israel. I know the .40 S&W is out of vogue these days. Like most other folks I also prefer the 9x19, but I like having options and this gun was priced so low it was hard to pass up. I don’t think I would pay $500 plus for one, especially when the steel framed IWI marked gun is available for only slightly more. -It has a slide mounted decocker/safety that functions like a Beretta 92. The IWI marked guns have a frame mounted safety and no decocker. -The gun is accurate and completely reliable so far. More pleasant to shoot than most polymer.40s I have shot. Overall great pistol and a good value when on sale.

I love the baby eagle! It's a little hard to conceal, but with a CHL/LTC, it's quite the conversation starter for like minded gun holders when worn in a holster on your hip. Recoil isn't bad and it feels good in your hands. Very accurate! Thanks Bud's!

Great gun. fit/finish is great and spot on. Fun to shoot and easy to clean. Baby Eagle and the Beretta M9A1 are right at the top of my list when choosing from my inventory for the range. GREAT WORK M.R......KEEP IT UP!!!!

This was my first purchase from Bud's, and I have to say, I am extremely happy with the customer service, selection and delivery. Thank you Bud's, you have a customer for life. I have always been a revolver shooter, so when the time came to get a semi-auto, I researched the market for a year. When I finally made the choice to go with the Baby Eagle BE9413RSL in .40S&W, I chose Bud's to make my purchase. I finally had the chance to get to the range and fire this weapon. I made the right choice. The way it fits my hand (slightly larger than average) could not be better, ergonomics are great, very comfortable to shoot. After putting 80 rounds of target ammo through it there were no fail-to-feeds, fail-to-fires or clearing issues at all. This gun is highly accurate and I am very pleased with the choice of gun, the caliber, and of course, Bud's service. Thank you. God Bless the USA.

I received the product in near excellent condition. The magazines were said to hold 13 rounds, but too much force was needed to get the last one in. I was able to file down the bottom of the follower of the magazines in order to get it to accept the 13th round. I have put 200 rounds through these mags since with no failure issues. It seems that Magnum research has now stated that they are 12 round magazines but, if they just shaved off the extra flash from there molding process they would be 13 round magazines like they originally intended.

What a great gun to shoot. I put 50 rounds in it today and the very first one hit the bullseye. No issues on mechanics of gun except the 13rd clips only hold 11. I bought 2 other clips from Magnum and they do the same, maybe I need to wear them down a little.
