Joseph HThe mini-30 arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Thanks Buds!! The new mini-30 design (series 582 serial numbers) has the newer barrel design, sights and scope mountings for included rings. The stainless steel components seem to include almost everything (but the extractor, springs, firing pin and sights. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase, and have had no problems with golden bear ammo and Ruger magazines. A great firearm!

Irvin CI love this firearm and Buds. I settled on the Ruger Mini 30 after a review of the other 7.62 X 30 options. Buds was great as usual, price is good and ease of making the purchase is perfect. I settled on the Mini 30 because I could get it in stainless and all the reviews were positive vs other options. Product and process were great, I took it to the range to try it out and sight in the scope I had for it. I shot 40 rounds of Brass cased ammo and then 40 Rounds of cheap steel cased ammo. I did 5 cycles of shoot one and pull a patch & 2 cycles of shoot 5 pull a patch. The Mini 30 shot both kinds of ammo with the same precision. No problems with the brass cased ammo, and 2 FTL with the cheap steel ammo (They appeared to be bad primers as they had good firing pin marks on them.) I like this firearm muchly, I am very pleased with Buds and Ruger. This my 3rd favorite firearm, 3rd only because I have built in preference for lever action rifles.
