Scott WI've done all the little tweaks on this gun, & it's ok but still no match for my ruger mark 3 hunter with 7"bbl. It's probably just barrel length.. it cycles fine, is lightweight, & is well made. But a 22 is not a defensive carry weapon.. i have a 9mm keltec that is about the same size & weight. So while it is a fine pistol, it has a very restricted use in my arsenal. I got it to carry on kayak trips, or backpacking, but the accuracy is so much better with the ruger that i'd rather carry it, even though it's bigger. For what it is, it is a good firearm. It just doesn't fit the uses i planned for it.

Wesley PI hate to say this, but I was unable to fire two consecutive rounds with this pistol. FTF, FTE, jams...Sent it to S&W yesterday. Hopefully I am able to update this to a more positive review later.
