Andrew WGreat gun - beautiful, built like a tank, and a joy to shoot! I mounted a scope on it and zeroed it at the range. While 44 Mag is fun to shoot in general (my favorite round), with a scope this gun takes it to a whole new level of enjoyment. The hunter model with the rib for mounting a scope adds extra weight to an already beefy gun, helping to absorb more recoil. Throw a scope on there and 44 mag factory round recoil is just down right tame. Bisley may not be for everyone. I have smaller hands, and actually prefer the plow handled Super Blackhawks to the Bisley models. This is my first Bisley, and I probably won't get another (though a 5.5" SBH in Bisley may make me rethink). That doesn't detract from this gun - it is one hell of a gun and a blast to shoot. Many shooters with larger hands won't shoot heavy 44 mags in anything else but the Bisley.

chris gRuger Super Blackhawk Bisley Hunter Model 00862, new in box exactly as described on Bud's website. I hve no complaints whatsoever. The revolver is a thing of beauty. The transaction was flawless. Product was received at my FFL dealer exactly two weeks after I ordered it, which is faster than Bud's had indicated it would arrived based on the sheer volume of sales they have experienced recently. I was emailed initially upon ordering via the website, then when the order went into processing status, then several days later when it went into "shipping" status and then a day later as it went to "shipped" status. I was able to see via the Bud's website the final shipping/tracking information. The whole process could not have been easier. Thank you Bud's for a great experience.
