CMMG Bravo 22 Conversion Kit with 3 25rd Mags Stainless Steel Black

It could not be easier to shoot 22LR out of an AR-15. I have a AR-15 from ZRODelta and simply replaced the carrier bolt assembly with the CMMG's. Load up the three supplied magazines for 22LR and off you go! A great product. Buds shipping was fast also. It was a great experience

If I could give this zero stars I would. It just does not work in my Springfield Saint. Numerous FTL, FTE, stovepipes, you name it it happens. Once and a while it might fire two or three rounds, then jam, jam jam. CMMG did try to rectify, but this brought up even more issues. First they sent three new magizines, to rectify a mfg problem, that didnt help. Next they sent a new chamber adapter, which jammed tight when the bolt closed. So then they sent another chamber adapter, which again jammed tight before the bolt fully closed. You figure that when you help a company like CMMG with their mfg anf QC issues, they would stand behind their product, but I guess not. I'm not alone in this, there are numerous posts and videos on the web showing other people with similar problems and even some of their homemade fixes Buyer beware!

This is the second conversion kit I have bought for a AR15 and it works as good as the first time around.

I like that idea to just slide the 22lr bolt carrier into AR 15 rifle and shoot cheap 22 ammo. It works. It doesn't cycle well and the accuracy is not there either. I tried different ammo, but it didn't make a difference. Failure to feed and failure to extract. From 50 feet the group pattern was about 3 inches. Some of the bullets was keyholing my paper target. Which, if you think about it should be expected. Ar 15 barrel is 1-7 twist, dedicated 22lr barrel is 1-16 twist. 22lr is .003''' smaller then 5.56 or 223 projectile. Also, 22 lr projectile will travel about 1.5''' through the smooth bore of the conversion bolt carrier, before it hits the rifling of the AR 15 barrel. If you want to shoot cheap ammo out of AR 15 platform, buy 22lr dedicated rifle.

Bought this .22 conversion kit so I could shoot my Colt AR15 6940 in my back yard. Drop in the bolt and .22 cal clip and it cycles just fine with the various LR ammo I’ve tried. I would recommend this product.

Very good product. I already put like 300 rounds trough it with zero issues. If you’re looking for something to have fun on the range and shoots well, this is a great option.

Great kit installs quick, don’t be disappointed when your put your first few mags through it and it jams every few rounds mine did and I was quick to judge it, tried a few different brands and grains of ammo and what worked best for me was federal automatch still had a lot of jams with it but I put about 350 rounds ish through it deep cleaned it then shot again and it ran so much better, im about 6 or 7 hundred rounds in and I can get all three mags through it without jams, that’s a lot of shooting for really cheap, I’m getting practice in with the kit while stocking up on 223/556 so I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to get some rounds through there ar without spending a fortune. Ps take some time to really clean it the whole thing come apart and scribe every inch wipe then lube and you should be good, 22lr gets realy dirty so I shoot a couple 223 rounds to clean the gas tube and barrel.
