CAUTION: IF YOU BUY THIS GUN THINKING THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CHANGE PARTS BACK AND FORTH WITH YOUR BERETTA, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, THE PARTS ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. THIS IS A BERETTA CLONE, NOT A BERETTA, IT SHOOTS JUST LIKE A BERETTA, BUT IT'S NOT A BERETTA, AND THE SLIDE DOES NOT HAVE THE SAFETY FEATURE OF THE BERETTA, THAT IF THE SLIDE WERE TO BREAK AT THE CHAMBER AREA (THE WEAKEST SPOT OF THE SLIDE), IN A BERETTA, THE REAR PART OF THE SLIDE WILL NOT COME OFF FLYING TOWARDS THE SHOOTER'S FACE, BUT THIS PISTOL CLONE DOES NOT HAVE THAT SAFETY MEASURE BUILT INTO IT, SO AFTER SEVERAL THOUSANDS SHOTS FIRED, IF THE SLIDE SUFFERS METAL FATIGUE AND BREAKS, THE REAR PART OF THE SLIDE COULD POTENTIALLY COME OFF FLYING AND SLAM INTO THE FACE OF THE SHOOTER.

Wow such a nice firearm for the price. Fit and finish is nice. Great compact M9. All that I did was replace the factory grips with a hogue grip. Buds was great as usual will definitely buy more guns from them

When I could not procure this gun locally, I turned to Bud's Guns and with out surprise, they had them available. The order process was easy and quick and I received my gun in the amount of time specified at the time of order. Once the order arrived, I inspected the gun thoroughly for any damage or manufacture defects. None found! At the range, the gun performed flawlessly and was extremely accurate, both FMJ and HP. I am impressed with the service I received from Bud's!

I got mine from Bud's ASAP from my FFL,took it to the range and shot the most inexpensive ammo I could get from WM, this M9 clone cycled everything with no problems, Winchester steel cased 115gr. FMJ and Federal aluminum 115gr. FMJ,Remington UMC 115gr. FMJ brass case, is easy to take down and clean and best of all interchangable with Beretta parts , mags,grips and after market accessories...Build quality, fit & finish A++,slide racks easily and fixed sights adds to reliability, non movable, accuracy X-CELLENT.

Not a bad option if you are looking for a M9 pistol. this gun has many positives going for it. seems to feed great, feels real nice with the finger groves, and a little easier to come by than the Beretta centurion. trigger is a little messy in single action but the double action is very smooth. mine shoots low to point of aim i had nice groupings but consistently low. decent price for an M9 if you can deal with not Italian made.

I have owned this M9 Compact for more than 3 months and have put more than 1500 rounds through it. I have not had a single stoppage nor malfunction occur with it. I do recommend this quality manufactured firearm. As several others have noted, a shooter with small hands will have difficulty with the grips. I wear a medium/large golf glove and I had to adjust to the wide grip, due to the double-stack magazine width. I have adjusted and shoot this M9 Compact well, just like the millions of US Military personnel have. This firearm is accurate, reliable, and a pleasure to shoot.

Bud's was great to deal with as usual. I have probably bought 15 guns from them over the years. The Chiappa M9 Compact is a quality handgun for less than half the price of a Beretta Centurion. I've only got it to the range once but it doesn't appear to be a picky eater. It ate up 200 rounds of assorted ammo without a hiccup.

bought the chiappa m9 9mm from buds they were very helpful and fast on del and the chiappa is a solid well made weapon it fires and spits out the spent casings just as fast as you can pull the trigger no problems at all a very fine gun would recommend it and buds gun shop to anyone thanks buds
