Chiappa makes high-quality firearms the fit and finish was beautiful. If you don't necessarily want a Mare's Leg get a full size rifle they are great

I had ZERO PROBLEMS buying this Chiappa Mare's Leg from Bud's Gun Shop - ZERO!! Once the payment cleared and was verified in their account, I received an email stating that shipping was done and my gun was on its way to the FFL dealer I use here in SC (emailed the SAME DAY). Gun arrived in only two days and that was that. I do NOT know why others have had problems buying from Bud's BUT I would NOT hesitate one minute if I wanted to buy from them again. Chiappa Mare's Leg in 45LC is all I wanted it to be except that I had to pay a gunsmith to install a saddle ring on it to fit my custom made holster (sticking to the original design of the holster used by Josh Randall on the TV series). Highly RECOMMEND Bud's Gun Shop.
