This transaction went smoothly. It shipped with some ugly walnut grips instead of the black ones in the picture. I changed those out anyway, so not that big of a deal to me. The pistol itself is 5+ stars. The fit and finish is very good. It looks great, feels great in the hand and the sights are very accurate right out of the box. This is my first 1911, but I can honestly say that for the price, Remington makes a very nice pistol. Highly recommend this or other Remington 1911s for a reasonably priced entry into the 1911 world.
