Trigger is junk. Some type of malfunction that does not allow trigger to be pulled about every fifth time. It is as if you have a safety engaged, but that is not the case. Not sure if I will send it to their gunsmith or get it fixed local. The rest of the gun is as expected. It is just too bad that such a quality gun as a $.05 trigger.

This is the NICEST, most upscale Para 1911 that I have seen to date, the grips are excellent, with grippy front strap checkering, the slide is smooth as a Swiss watch, and the trigger pull is in the 3.5 lb range, right out of the box. The older Para USA 1911s used to have 7 lb plus trigger pulls. The older ones ALWAYS required a trigger job to make them shootable for target. If all of the higher-end Para USA 1911s are of this very high quality, I'll be back for more. I recently purchased the Para14-45 Black Ops and it is also top notch.

My new favorite pistol! 200 rounds through it today. would have shot more if i had brought more. couldnt put it down. tight, super accurate, grips are amazing, great trigger, and no recoil. Brought my ppq 9mm and that seemed to recoil more than this. Steal for this price. even better that para is offering a mail in $100 rebate right now
