Fantastic handgun! Great ergonomic grip that lends itself well to superb accuracy out of the box. Sights were dead on and required no tweaking. Trigger pull is short and crisp with virtually no over travel. Very positive, audible, and short reset. Fouled the gun up pretty good with cast reloads without a single malfunction or degradation in accuracy. If you are on the fence about one of these FNS and wonder how it compares to other more popular pistols, just go ahead and get one. If you like striker fired polymer pistols (and I like Glocks, M&P's, XDm's, and the likes) you are bound to like this one.

Great gun. Comes with 3 mags. Trigger has an excellent reset. When dry firing the trigger stays back until slide is racked....different but fine. Fit and finish of gun is what I expected after watching and reading many reviews. Got it right before the price increase so happy there. Purchase this gun and you won't be disappointed especially if your a glock fan. Good for the minimalist and for southpaws.

I bought the all black model of this gun with factory night sights. I've never been a fan of striker-fired pistols, at least until I had this one. I bought this to carry on-duty to replace my department-issued Glock. I have never liked the Glock. I love the interchangeable backstraps and I use the flat one, but even the version with the bulge isn't as extreme as the Glock. The trigger is much better without that goofy "trigger safety" in the center of the trigger. The reset is crisp, with a more audible click than my Glock, and trigger pull doesn't feel so mushy like the Glock. The FN is also an attractive gun, unlike the ugly, homely Glock. I took it to the range to test it and it shot like a dream. I had to adjust my point of aim slightly higher due to the European combat sights, but I was aware of this going in. I was able to shoot tighter, more accurate groups with the FN than I've ever been able to shoot with the Glock in 7 years of carrying one. I ordered a Talon grip because I don't like checkered grips, but I understand why manufacturers use them. I've just never had issues with guns slipping out of my hand even when my palms were sweaty. This is an excellent weapon, one I would trust to defend my own life with. I highly recommend it. * Remember to disassemble, clean and lubricate before first use per the manual's instructions as it is shipped with a rust preventative in the barrel, slide and action/chamber areas. If the rust preventative is not removed it may not function properly.

This was my first purchase from Bud's, I could not ask for a better process to buy a gun. my FNS-9 arrived in three business days in perfect condition, haven't had the chance to fire gun yet, but looking forward to doing so. This will not be my last purchase from Bud's, these guy's "DO IT RIGHT ".
