You cannot go wrong with this pistol. It is more accurate than the less expensive polymer Glocks, Springfields, and M&Ps (I have owned and shot them all). However, you do get what you pay for and when you pay for the Sig you will be pleased. Some people complain about the long double action first shot, but it is not an issue. The trigger is smooth and if you practice it won't matter. The recoil is also mild on the P226 9mm. The only thing I do not prefer about this gun is the new E2 grips. Some people really like them. I just prefer the older style grips with grip screws. If you don't like the new grips, don't worry, the P226 will still accept the older grips and the Hogue grips -- you just have to buy a set of grip screws. A couple of years ago there was a lot of internet rumbling about the new USA mags that ship with the new Sigs having issues. If there were issues they have been ironed out by now as this is my second P226 in the last year and the mags work fine.

Nice gun. I like it alot except this gun doesn't come with E2 grip. That's the only disappointing part.

Obviously this is a great gun, night sights are awesome. mine also came with 2 magazines even though it was losted as 1, so I was very happy.

What you are is not what you get. Although the description, picture and manufacturers product number show the new style E2 grips. That's not what comes in the box. Overall great guns but when I buy this expecting the new (supposedly only style made now) E2 grips and it comes with the old bulky grips, it's disappointing to say the least.
