I've had this firearm for about 5 months now. I run pretty much any kind of ammo I can get my hands on through this glock. I've never had any problems with any steel case, brass case, fmj, hollow point or any ammo I've put through the gun. I found that I prefer the gen 3 frames after the addition of traction grips over the gen 4 which is a little too aggressive for my taste. I've since added trijicon hd night sights and a 3.5lb trigger connector. It's one of my favorite guns to shoot. It's very accurate and just plain works every time. The dark earth frame looks more like a dirt color in person which I find to be really cool. It gets attention at the range. It's not every day you see fde or od glocks anymore unless they've been cerakoted. Good price and shipping was quick. I've bought 5 or 6 guns from buds and have never had a problem.

Love the FDE glock. You don't see many at the ranges
and of course it's a Glock. Great service and great
conceal carry weapon.

I put this on G17 G3 on layaway the day they came out and a month later I received the gun after 4 days of final payment. It is my first Glock, and I'm very impressed with the absolute simplicity and especially the part's availability, also the new tennifer finish is EXCELLENT for preventing corrosion and slide/barrel rub marks on the slide and barrel, It is however a little slick for slide manipulation. But, I'm now a Glock lover, not necessarily more than my other's, just have an appreciation of the simple, dependable, and accurate design. I am glad I went with the FDE finish for my first Glock too, and the original Gen 3 has the reliability of being the first/original Glock Auto-Pistol with original spring guide assembly and it just luckily fit's my hand but requires a LITTLE adjustment to my grip but I like it a LOT........ I want another now!!

When I saw this New Flat Dark Earth model, I just had to have it ! And Buds got it to me in three days time. Now thats some outstanding service. As for the Glock model 17, what can you say other than its simply "Glock Perfection". This is the second time I purchased a firearm from Buds, Great prices and Great Customer Service. Thanks, Buds Gun Shop

Basic Glock 17 in the special run of FDE color frame. It really is DIRT colored (or dog crap colored), not lighter (tan) like XD-9 or Sig FDE. Since these will be limited production, I would recommend buying one a.s.a.p. as they will go up in value once production ceases. The OD Green Glocks are now selling for $700+, USED. If you drop it outside on dirt it would be very camoflauged.
