Stag Arms standard carbines (Model 1, 2, 2T, 3, 8 and their left-handed equivalents) feature:
- Carpenter 158 shot peened Bolt with black extractor spring
- Shrouded full circle AR15 bolt carrier with side staked carrier key
- 5.56 NATO chambered barrel with chrome lining, 1/9 twist, double lead lapped, and parkerized under the front sight base
- M4 feed ramps
- F marked front sight base with taper pins
- Double heatshield handguards
- Mil-Spec size 7000 series aluminum receiver extension with staked receiver nut (also known as castle nut)
- One 30rd USGI Magazine*

- 4150 CMV barrel steel chrome lined
- 1/7 Twist rifling

This is my first AR after I decided to not move back to California. I ordered it over the holiday season so it took about a month for it to ship and reach my FFL. I was also on vacation in California at the time so it took me two months since ordering to have it in my hands. I love this gun though, accurate as hell. Shot about 910 rounds through it with zero failures so far.

A fantastic value. Stag produces a good rifle to start with and this one has all the usual upgrades someone would normally do to begin with. Quad rail, Chrome Lined barrel, H Buffer, M16 Bolt carrier, Flip up rear backup sight, end plate adapter for a single point sling with a sling adapter on the adjustable stock and two more points at the front of the quad rail, it also undergoes the high pressure and magnetic particle testing(it is marked) that other rifles costing hundreds more undergo. All this in a package at this price is incredible. It even comes with two magazines. The rifle functions as expected which is to say flawlessly. The trigger isn't anything special but most AR style rifles have a basic trigger pull anyway so it's not really a knock on the quality of this firearm at all. Anyone looking for a quality AR that is ready to go out of the box, this is an excellent choice in my opinion. Just add your favorite optic and you are ready to go. The quality of this rifle rivals options costing quite a bit more. I am extremely pleased with it and Buds offers excellent service and the whole transaction process was painless.

I order this Stag just couple hours after the Conn. School Shooting. After that Gun sales went through the roof. I became fearful that Buds would not ship it to me and sell it for more to someone else. Well I was wrong. Buds came through and I received the Ar15 with no problems. This Stag with the plus package is awsome and shoots great. As of today I allready have 2 Texas hog kills with it. THanks Buds

Great product. Fast shipping and great communication. Picked up from the shop and went right to the range. Works perfectly as 5.56 as well with the cmmg 22 conversion. Worth every penny.
