Great gun for the money !!! And it doesn't have that stupid safety sticking up like some other gun company we know. Would buy again.

Fun gun that turns a lot of heads at the range. The only negative I can say is that the grips are plastic and rough and I have not been able to find replacements. But for the price it is well worth it. Bud's was fast with the shipping and arrived in excellent condition.

This gun shoots as well as some of my expensive revolvers. I wish it had a transfer bar so I could SAFELY load 6 shots but if you can't hit what you are shooting at with 5 I guess one more won't help you! The finish is not perfect but it didn't cost $500.00 either. It is a good serviceable gun and it shoots well. I think you would be well served with this revolver.

I purchased two of the Puma 1873 22 LR. revolvers and loved them so much I ended up buying eight more of them. I use them when the family gets together at our place and we all shoot at our range. A great buy and very accurate. I bought the Buntline models with the 12" barrel. Super smooth action and good accuracy. Only have had a slight problem with one out of ten units. The forcing cone at beginning of barrel wasn't cut. I called Puma and they said no problem to send in for repair. I was telling my local gun shop and the gunsmith said he could fix it for less than the cost of postage both ways for warranty. Two days later this Puma is fixed and super accurate like the others. One out of ten was just a fluke I know and would buy more if I needed them............... ..............................................By the way these Puma revolvers will out shoot my Ruger single six hands down at 25 yds. and beyond, we can hit my 8" dong target 4 to 5 times out of six shots at 100 yds. Bought 2 1873 Puma .22LR six guns and they are awesome. Well I bought 8 more of them and only one out of 10 has a issue................we live in the country and has a shooting range so I bought all of them to use when friends and family comes over....................The one with issue just doesn't shoot as well and had to move rear sight over to one side and it still not enough...........The other nine are awesome shooters. This draws a lot of interest at the shooting Range. The long barrel makes it extremely accurate. I only have a few hundred rounds through it, but I expect it to be on par with my Chiappa1873-33 with a 4.75 in barrel that has a few thousand rounds. The only two drawbacks is that it is front heavy which tends to make me shoot low, and the fact that I can't find an ankle holster for it.

This SSA 1873 Buntline revolver is the most comical firearm I've ever owned. It's heavy and looks like it just came off the set of Tombstone. Nice fit and finish, not great but not bad, especially for the price. When I pulled it out at the range everyone just stared because of the size of the beast. It functioned flawlessly with all kinds of ammo and we put around 300 rounds through it. Everyone puts a death grip on it till they pull the trigger then just laugh at the complete lack of recoil. A very fun gun. If you are looking for a fun plinker this is it! Of course, Buds as always, was amazing
