The

steel frame and slide machined to exacting tolerances and hand-fitted
to insure reliability and performance. Like all SIGARMS products the
new Revolution contains only premium internal parts including a match

night sights. The frame features 25-line per inch checkering on the
front strap and 20-line per inch on the mainspring housing and is
complimented by a set of checkered custom wood grips. Both the frame
and slide on the new Revolution are de-horned making it ideal for
full-size concealed carry. For safety the GSR features a beavertail

and hammer intercept notch.

Bought this pistol a couple weeks ago. Buds was great and pistol was shipped to my FFL within a few days.
I went to the range the very next day and was surprised how accurate this gun shoots. I fired a S&W 9mm and a Glock 357 the same day and was amazed how much accurate, smoother and comfortable this 1911 is compared to the others. Absolutely no problems at all and can't wait to hit the range again. If ammo was cheaper, I'd go everyday. Love this gun! I field stripped the gun for the first time and and it's not too bad. I would recommend watching some youtube videos first if not familiar with 1911 field stripping.
I plan to buy another Sig Sauer in the near future. Probably something smaller for carry.

Light trigger, tactical light rail, match barrel, night sights, 8 round mag...add up to a great 1911.
Picked one up, put over 100 rounds through it on the first day, only had one stovepipe due to a faulty clip. No worries after changing the mag. Suggest changing the stock wood grips to some kind of G-10 combat grips though, have to watch that the front/backstraps are checkered, I got the older one without and it's a little slippery.
Add an extended mag release button and a mag well chute (see Wilson Combat), a TLR-1, and you're GOOD TO GO!!!
Only problem is, SIG did the slide shape a bit less rounded off than a standard 1911 clone, so you have to modify the Blackhawk Serpa holster and remove the retaining screw completely so it slides out more easily.
This is my "backup Wilson Tactical" if that's any hint as to how good this pistol is once certain changes are made.
