The Ethos features Progressive Comfort recoil reduction, an internal system which automatically absorbs and mitigates recoil, making for a much more comfortable day, whether shooting light target or heavy magnum loads. The action cycles not by a traditional gas piston design, but rather by means of Benellis proprietary Inertia Drive system, a brilliantly-simple design which both reduces felt recoil and keeps smoke and gas in the barrel where it belongs, and away from internal mechanical components.
