The rifle was delivered faster than I expected. I haven’t shot it yet since I’ve been shopping for a scope, rings, bipod, etc.. This is a beautiful rifle and am anxious to take it to the range. My only negatives are that the bolt is kinda rough (should smooth out with use) and the safety is very difficult to release and will probably need to be stoned. In the process of releasing the safety, my finger slipped and scraped against the safety, not bad enough to break my skin, however.
I’m still looking forward to shooting this rifle and finding out how accurate it is.

Two years and counting. The CZ 455 thumbhole fluted barrel .22LR is an amazing rifle. The trigger is smooth like butter, the rifle is well balanced, and very accurate. My neighbor shot my rifle at a hundred yards and was so impressed with the rifle accuracy that he decided to purchase the same rifle. I only wish the rifle had a threaded barrel from factory. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Bud's service gets better and better - received this CZ 455 with thumb hole stock in just two days. Bud's had the only one I could find with laminated (Boyd) stock and fluted barrel which makes a handsome stable platform. Stock trigger is about 2+ lbs with minimal creep. Am planning to install YoDave's trigger kit to improve trigger pull to silk. Setup should be one of my most accurate target 22's.

Expensive? Yes. But worth every cent. This is no average .22!. Craftsmanship, accuracy, and great looks are a few words that come to mind. The CZ 455 has quality that rivals expensive center fire rifles and it is a joy to shoot. Very smooth action, excellent bluing, a Boyd's stock, hammerforged lapped barrel, and much more. Mine shot sub 1/2" groups at 50 yards right out of the box shooting affordable CCI standard velocity ammo. I am very happy with this rifle and Bud's service. Very fast shipping and great communication. I'll be doing more business with Buds!

Great rifle; very good quality. The fit-up of wood to metal is excellent. The action is smooth with an outstanding trigger. This rifle has good heft and feel; it is not a cheapie .22. The only thing funky are the magazines. They are polymer(5 and 10 rounders) and weigh nothing but so far they work flawlessly. This rifle is very accurate, even with bulk ammunition. It can do a cloverleaf hole at 25 yards
