This little gun was everything that was advertised. The slide failed to lock open after the first magazine but after that it was smooth sailing. Thanks to Buds "Layaway Plan" this is my fourth gun in 6 mos. The pricices on all my guns were all hard to beat if not unbeatable. I just wish that my money transfer would clear Buds bank a little faster than 5 days.

Nice little shooter. Took it home and actually cut my finger trying to rack it when my finger slipped. The slide actually has pretty sharp edges on the top next to the barrel so I took it apart and smoothed out some of the edges with a grinder. Next, I cut HALF of the last coil loop on the large recoil spring to soften it up a bit because I'm not built like Hulk Hogan to be muscling the next round into such a tiny gun. Then I put it back together and left the slide catch open for like 2 days to try to soften up the spring some more. It seems to have worked pretty good. While it is a bit hard for such a small gun/cartridge, its very manageable now.

Ok, now for some shootin'. I took her out to the range and didn't think it would be very accurate (it is a DOA after all). I WAS WRONG! This think is not only easy to fire and maintain, I had my WIFE shoot a 3" group from 15 yards! I shot a little better, but it definitely shoots where you point it. The recoil is more like talking in a classroom, not YELLING in a library like most small guns this size. Kind of addicting to shoot. All in all, good build quality, good accuracy, no FTE or FTF, good price, and takes p so even at 380 this little bugger can surprise the bad guys in a hurry. Buy it. Its a keeper.

I don't usually write reviews But, this little gun is really nice. It is fun to shoot, very accurate, and it ate every type of ammo i put through it including 4 different types of hollow point/ personal defense ammo and 3 different types of ball target ammo, not a single malfunction of any type. The fit and finish is great, and the size is perfect. This is a new gun so i tore it down and cleaned it after every 100 rounds which is what i do for any new pistol. Great Little Gun !!!

I really want to like this gun. Perfect size for carry, don't even know it's there. Fit and finish and looks are great. Gun is very accurate and soft shooting, but it has proven to be far to unreliable to serve as a self defense weapon, even after going back to Kahr for warranty work. Have experienced every type of failure possible. Seems better after factory work, I'll give it another chance. Seems ok with Liberty Ammo, otherwise I'll be back in the market for another carry pistol. BUds was great as always.

I bought this to replace a Diamondback DB9 as my pocket/ankle carry gun. The DB9 was the perfect size and preferable 9mm caliber, but after a LOT of trying to "break it in" and get it fixed at the factory, it just wouldn't run reliably (or accurately) enough for a self defense gun. The CW380 is almost the exact same size as the DB9, with the only negative trade-off being the less powerful cartridge. But the tradeoff was well worth it... after my first trip to the range with the CW380, I am extremely happy with it. I also own the CW9 for waistband carry and I am just as happy with both Kahr models. The CW380 is very easy to conceal and shoots like a dream for such a small pistol. I broke it in with 100 rounds of cheap PMC ammo and did not have a single malfunction. The very first magazine did not lock the slide after the last round, but it locked back every single time after that... which is completely acceptable and failing to lock back is not even considered a stoppage in my opinion. I was able to shoot the CW380 two-handed, one-handed, weak-handed, etc. and able to hit a 4-inch plate at about 10 yards if I really concentrated... I can't claim any of the above with the DB9.

- Extremely concealable
- Manageable recoil for its size
- Smooth trigger
- Good sights
- Slide lock

- Not a 9mm
