The FNS-40 Compact is a striker fired autoloader double action operating advanced pistol. It is a result of intensive development and more than 400,000 round of testing. It comes with fully-ambidextrous slide stop levers and magazine release and an interchangeable backstrap system with lanyard eyelets. The cold hammer forged, stainless steel, polished chamber, and feed ramp will cycle every round. Loaded chamber indicator allows you to know you are ready safely unloaded or ready to fire. The 40 Compact is ready to be concealed and quickly drawn when you need it.

I Bought this gun after shooting the full sized version at a local Gun Range ( The Alamo in Naples, FL). I was hard pressed between it and the Beretta PX 4 Storm. I am SOOO glad I got this one. It Shoots like a dream and have had 0 issues with shooting, Probably 500 rounds though it so far! It is my CCW and Have never felt nervous to carry it or shoot it. It has a smooth trigger and reliable slide. I am a HUGE FNH fan now!

Very, very impressed with this pistol. It was accurate and reliable after 100 rounds of practice ammo and 40 rounds of the high power stuff. Trigger is always important and I was very impressed by its trigger. It is very smooth and has a nice positive reset. I had no problems keeping most shots in tight and center. The safety though is very small and a bit difficult to manipulate so their is essentially no chance of accidently engaging the safety but it may be a little difficult disengaging it in an emergency. The mag release botton is also a bit small, but it might just take getting used to. All in all this is still an excellent weapon that could be used for carrying or at home and comes with 3 magazines and night sights. I don't believe anyone would regret buying this pistol.
