I have heard a lot of "iffy" things about the Kahr CW380. I've been wanting one for awhile now, and I love it! Have put around 350 rounds through it, and not one issue at all. I can shot surprisingly accurate with it and recoil is not bad. It has a very nice smooth trigger, the pull is a little long but not at all bad. Super happy with my CW380. Great tiny pistol.

The break in period is no joke. You need to put a lot of rounds through this gun before it stops jamming. Other than that it's a fun little handgun.

Great company to purchase from! Price was better than others, shipping was fast, and product was top notch! Will do business again, thanks.

This Kahr CW380 Tungsten has performed flawless. 205 rounds shot with no malfunctions of any kind. Once receiving the firearm it was dirty and greasy from the factory. I went home and cleaned it well with G96 complete gun treatment and lubed the barrel with Remington gun lube. The gun was still very tight. I then worked the action and dry fired a few dozen times to try and loosen it up and left the slide locked open over night. The next day I went to the range and fired a variation of 200 rounds of FMJ ammo from 6 round and 7 round Kahr magazines with no malfunctions of any kind. I then fired 5 rounds of Hornady Critical Defense 90 grain to test reliability of cycling and it worked flawlessly. The accuracy of this little gun combined with the superb trigger makes it an amazing package. For those wondering, this particular model came with two 6 round magazines.

I bought this handgun in Dec 2015. While I love the design, trigger, dimensions, etc...this handgun just isn't reliable at all. I know Kahr pocket pistols (PM9 CM9 CW380 P380) have had some horror stories, but prior I owned a CW9 and it ran perfect. So I went ahead and ordered this cerakote version. Buds is Buds, I'm not going to take anything away from them. But I will say I have shot 350 rounds this handgun and on almost every magazine had failures to feed. I sent it back to Kahr, they simply replaced the barrel and slide. Went back to the range 350 rounds later, the same thing. At this point I've invested 700 rounds into a gun I've owned for almost 6 months, which isn't one bit reliable. It has just been sent back to Kahr a second time (no shipping costs occurred either time). I want this to be my EDC for summertime, but at the moment looks like a big fat bust. This is the last chance I'm giving Kahr to get it right. After another 300 rounds, if this thing doesn't work well, I'm cutting my losses. 1 star for now, but definitely can't get above 3 even if it becomes reliable just due to the painful process so far.

I bought after studying many online reviews, and understanding potential feeding issues, but also how to mitigate those issues. Upon arrival, I fully examined it at the FFL. Appeared in perfect condition, but as expected a very stiff slide. Took it home, cleaned thoroughly, sprayed well with Ballistol, reassembled. Then for 2 weeks left it with the slide locked back. Daily I'd rack it a few times, then leave it locked (locks easily with empty mag). I'd also rotate the mags, loading and unloading every other day. I've read, and believe in my experience, this procedure facilitates the 300-400 round break-in period; without the monetary expense of ammo. Finally, with much anticipation, "Range Day"... and perfect operation, zero failures, extremely accurate. Ammo; Winchester white box target, and Hornady FTX with polymer tip which seems to improve feed reliability. All Micro 380 Autos are potentially problematic, and require some patience and study. I've found the CW380 best value in class; 380 under $400. Hogue "Handall Jr." rubber grip (slides on),or Talon Grip (stick on); nice improvements.

I am having a lot of problems with this Kahr CW380. It jams constantly. First time out at the range, I was only able to get 12 rounds through it and that was with 8 jams. I had to just put it away. In addition, the slide is so stiff I can barely operate the thing I am a woman, but I also own a Sig P938 and I regularly shoot a Glock 19 with no issues at all. Even my husband had trouble with the slide. I showed it to the owners of the range and they said it is not right. They think maybe the cerekote messing up the action on the rails. They also noticed some ridging on the barrel ramp. So, now I'm gonna have to send it back to Kahr. I am really disappointed in this piece and I have never met a firearm I didn't like. I emailed Kahr service yesterday and have not heard a word back from them. Sorry Kahr...but you lost me. Never again.

Pistol is excellent quality. When I received the pistol I cleaned it and then fired 265 rounds with out a single failure of any type using S&B 92 gr FMJ and Winchester white box target rounds. Then tried hollow points and again no failures. This is better than the performance of the other small 380 I have which is the R---- L--. The R---- L-- had multiple misfires in the first 50 rounds but now is broken in and has no problems. After the great results with this Kahr and breaking in - I tried some of the cheap Perfecta ammo from W-mart that is from the Tulloma company - this ammo would not work in the pistol at all - multiple failures. This pistol just needs decent quality ammo. It worked fine with target rounds but not with Perfecta, I fired 100 rounds of Winchester white box target rounds from W-Mart during break-in with no failures. Cerakote over stainless will hold up great and it is a very nice quality gun. Don't be afraid of the break-in. I you are going to carry a micro 380 you need to shoot it a couple hundred rounds anyway. Just don't use the Russian ammo. Trigger is great and can be staged for max accuracy. Pistol is as accurate short range as my Walther PPS that I also bought at Buds. Highly recommend and it takes P. I used the make an offer feature. Very pleased with the transaction. Thank you Bud's.

well, where to start.... positives-great looking little gun, easy to shot, very low recoil for size/weight, love the trigger (prob. about 6 pounds), great price, and very concealable..... negatives-the infamous "KAHR break in" (about 350 rnds for this one), weird non-captured 2 spring recoil system (a spring in a spring very strange and hard to align ref. reassembly) bottom line-seems like KAHR need to take a good long look at their QA processes....buying a weapon that even by their own standards requires a 200 rnd. break in period seems asking a bit much of the consumer (who has choices). The money you spend on ammo trying to get it to function properly could be put to a "G", "SW" or "S" with confidence that it will go "bang" almost every time right out of the box....a must in confidence for a weapon of this type.......
