I received the Girsan and got it out for the first trial. Shoots accurately and the only issue I found was the very heavy trigger. With that exception it's a good entry 1911 and a few dollars getting the trigger tuned would be my advice. It's a good 'car' gun and/or a good entry if you are into trying some simple gunsmithing on the ignition system (sear, hammer interface in particular). If you handle the heavy trigger it will give you a good 3-4" pattern at 25 yards.........

I researched this 1911 on several forums and was pleased with the reviews overall. Was a little apprehensive because of the price but because it's Bud's I took a chance. Ordered on late Tuesday night and incredibly was at my FFL Friday of the same week. Haven't shot it yet but the fit and finish is amazing for a weapon of this price range. The gun snoobs pooh pooh the Turkish firearms but I think this one will stand up to the more expensive models. Bud's you continue to amaze me!

first let me tell you this is not my first 1911. and i usually buy guns that are better known , This girsan is a very tight fitting and smoothly finished gun . I only ever write reviews if the item is very good or very bad...,This was very very good.. it came with a mag , a little bottle of oil, a cleaning rod in a nice foam lined case it ate 50 rounds of pmc and 50 rounds of winchester with no trouble at all. it had no feeding problems of any kind . the gun has a nice weight to it in my hand,, i love the fact that the gun is metal..polymer has its place but not on a 1911..i was shooting tight groups althou a bit low ,but that was probably just me .. (range was crowded that day). all in all this is a very good quality gun at a good price.. i would with out any doubt buy another one .. Nice gun: ))

The pistol is an amazing bargain with quality and performance similar to a high a dollar variant. It eats all types of ammo without any problems. My wife was so enamored with it that she demanded a pistol of her own. I got her a TP 9 9mm thinking that she might not like the heavier recoil, but she actually enjoyed shooting the 1911 more. Her target acquisition with the heavier pistol was better, so she ended up with a 1911 of her own. Her vision is much better then mine that at 10 yards she was placing the round at will. That is impressive accuracy with a novice at hand. She keeps her on the night table next to her I phone. Im going to teach her some basic CQB, so I don't have to get up in the middle of the night. ; ) I have shown the pistol to friends and family, all responding with the same look of awe. And just like that I've bought 5 guns in the last 4 months. Never have I acquired so many firearms in such a little time. BUDs what have you started?
