Ordered these on a Thursday evening. Picked them up from my FFL on Tuesday afternoon. 5 calendar days and in my hands. Now that is quick service. Supposed to be blemished guns. We couldn't tell what the blemish was supposed to be. Quality rifle at a great price. Going to the range in the morning to see if they shoot as good as they seem to be made. I may get a few more if this price holds 'til payday.

I purchased this rifle for my first AR15. I highly recommend this rifle to anyone looking to purchase one, neither I or the FFL dealer could find a blemish on it. The first day at the range I shot over 200 rounds and not one hiccup. I let my friend that has a Bushmaster AR shoot it and he is considering selling his and getting an AA rifle. The rifle runs very clean and is easy to clean. Do not be scared by the "factory blemish".... you will not be disappointed.

I was a bit hesitant to order this gun because it seemed like too good of a deal to be true. I read of a couple instances of more than cosmetic flaws, and that had me worried. When I received the gun at the FFL, I could barely find anything wrong cosmetically with it. There were 2 noticeable spots in the finish of the upper receiver that could be called blemishes, but if this gun was sold to me as brand new non blemished I wouldn't question it. This all had me thinking maybe I got one with more than cosmetic blemishes.

After getting back from my first trip to the range with it, let me tell you: do not be afraid of buying this rifle. This thing shoots like a dream. The trigger break is very crisp. No FTF or FTE through 100 rounds. I used the gas block adjustment knob and turned it into a bolt action, kind of a cool feature(especially for teaching). The accuracy is plenty for my use, the typical iron sight distances.

As another reviewer has said, this is in the same price range as the m&p sport. Now I think the m&p is a great gun, but this deal just can't be passed up. If you get a good "blemish", you will end up with a $1000 rifle for just over $600.

I can also say, I was pleasantly surprised by Bud's shipping times. I chose the e-check option to save the 3%. After the 5 days to clear, as they tell you, it shipped the next day. It was at the FFL 2 days later. For reference, I ordered some MBUS Pro sights on the same day from another popular website known for low prices. The Bud's order took 2 business days after payment, the other order took 9 business days after payment to receive. And the other wasn't even an FFL item!

Thanks Buds, this deal is truly better than I expected.

at first this seems like a phenomenal deal. and it sort of is. i mean they claim the blemish can only be cosmetic and won't affect the functionality of the rifle at all right? i went to the FFL and checked it out, i noticed the coating on the receiver was uneven and there was a small chip at the end of the flat top. said that's fine and took it home. but once i started dressing it up i realized the gas block was pinned on not quite right. it sits at an angle, not level with where a rail would be, it's about an 1/8th of an inch to the right of where it should be. to me that is a function issue, mounting a straight iron sight isn't really possible on it because it's sitting to the right and at an angle. but i wanted to put an offset pair of sights on that block and now i can't.

overall i don't really regret buying the gun though, it cost me less for an unfired piston AR, then i would have paid for an M&P sport, but now when i put a rail on it it's gonna drive me insane and turns what would have been an awesome deal into merely an ok deal i was seriously considering buying a second one before i realized it. i did send adams arms an email to see if they'd fix it, no word back yet in 2 days though, here's to hoping.
