This 1911 looks incredible, the fit and finish for the price, is incredible. Do not think twice about it, worth evert dime. The order shipped out extreamly fast, within 3 days the item was ready to be picked up from my dealer. Very happy with my choice, seams like a gun I will be keeping for a very long time.

Love this gun. For the money it won't be beat. Got it with fast shipping from buds. My first time ordering and i was impressed. I've taken it out a few times now and have over 300 rounds through it. A couple FTF's and occasionally slide doesn't lock back after the last round but no issues recently. I have been carrying it daily since the day i got it. It's heavier than other full size 1911s due to the rail and bull barrel but it's not something I'm concerned with. Only negative is finding a good holster that accommodates the rail but they are out there. This is gonna be my EDC for a while since i open carry so concealing isn't something i have to deal with. Also gonna have this be my idpa gun. I would recommend this pistol to anyone looking for a solid decent priced .45

This gun is sweet! No jams, smooth as could be. Couldn't be happier with buds! Always top notch, super fast shipping, never buy anywhere else! The only thing that I found different about this 1911 is the take down. To field strip this pistol you have to push the recoil spring all the way up until the little hole in the rod is visible and then take a paper clip and stick it in there to keep the spring compressed. Once this is done the spring sleeve and spring slide out. Just a little different than other 1911's . This is a perfect conseal carry 1911 and is accurate straight out of the box. Great buy! Rock Island is stepping up their game!

WOW! This 1911 is slick! No seriously, the slide on this thing moves across the frame like butter on a hot pan. The trigger is nice and crisp, the sights are easy to see, and the light rail (not shown in the picture) and checkering on the mainspring housing is a nice touch. For the price, you can't beat it as far as comparison to similar pistols such as springfield armory. Best of all, it shoots tight little 2 inch groups at 30 feet! The only things I'm not too keen on are the grips (a little to aggressive in texture for me) but sandpaper will fix that, and the ambi safety. I'm a lefty, and even I hate these things. I used to have a g.i. spec springfield that I put all wilson combat internals in. This pistol already comes with all the upgrades I had in the springfield. Sadly, my springfield had a defect in the frame and the slide completely blew off of it. Due to springfields customer service not wanting to fix the situation and arguing with me, I swore them off and switched to rock island/ armscor, which has a lifetime warranty incase anything ever happens. So far I'm VERY VERY happy with my purchase!

This is a great gun it shoots very good buds shipping was very fast I'm very pleased with the whole process I would buy from buds again this gun does have the full rail on It don't know why its not in the picture

Great experience buying from buds. Will do again! Got my rock island armory 51488 2011 VZ MS .45 in less than 4 days to my FFL. Took out and put 120 rounds through it with zero hiccups. Just had to field strip it and clean the 3 gal of shipping oil off and out of it before taking it out. With all the upgrades on this tool it is a very great buy compared to other 1911a1s.

Upon receiving The RIA TAC 2011 VZ it didn't take long to get the oil all cleaned off of it and go outside and push a couple of Mags through it! and it performed flawlessly !! point of aim was right where it should be, the Gun worked just like its suppose to .. its a well made firearm. I was pleasantly surprised at the trigger pull,,,, it was very light and smooth for being a new gun.. The only thing I would caution anyone ordering this firearm from Buds is ( and they state ) its not the Gun in the picture!! it looks nothing like the picture,, One of the reason I wanted the gun was the added serrations on the front of the slide , well guess what they're not there, The gun is awesome, Just realize your not going to get the Gun In the Picture! Called customer service Talked to a very Nice lady, Who very politely explained to me that they state, the picture isn't always one of the Gun, She needs a raise also I might add!
