I've had this gun for a while now and the first time I took it out of the box I ran over a thousand rounds of m193 ammo through it with out one failure. Since then at least another thousand have been shot and still no failures (it is as mil-spec as a civilian can buy and Mossberg has made parts for the military version for a while so not really a surprise). Most of the long-guns I own are Mossberg and I have never been disappointed in their quality. Buds gun shop is also the main place I buy guns from now as they have lower prices fast service and every gun I have ever desired. Plus the 90 day layaway plan helps me get what I want without my wife knowing and without breaking the bank

Very nice rifle. Super clean and everything fits tight and as it should. Don't let other forums that are elitists bash on the fact this is a Mossberg. I've owned and fired a few different Mossberg products and am very pleased with this rifle. And for the money, this makes this rifle a very attractive purchase with no remorse.

Great rifle so far. Have't put to many rounds through it yet, but is pretty accurate. Zeroed it at 25 yds and had a few key holes, makes me think maybe 2-3 moa which is great for an of the box budget AR. Probably the free float barrel. I noticed all the reviews saying how great Buds is and i thought most was some self marketing, but they are great. I use all online gun sites for researching my next buy but only buy here.

Great gun, had no issues when it arrived. Shot over 100 rounds with no issues. I tried 4 different types of magazines it's accepted them all great. Had no jams or issues while firing. It is accurate. I am fine without the forward assist, never used it before. I've been using ar m4 types for my job for a while and this beats those any day. Magpul sights and buttstock fit fine. I would recommend this rile, it's great especially for the price

This rifle has exceeded all of my expectations. I am an avid AR shooter and bought this rifle because the price was so good. I bought it while it was $579.00 and do not regret my purchase at all. I have put nearly 2000 rounds through the rifle without a single failure to fire. I set it up with a Lucid HD7 red dot and Magpul Gen II iron sights and have had no problems hitting targets at 100 yards. Though it may not have a forward assist I can honestly say I have never really used a FA on my other rifles so this is not an issue with me. I would highly recommend this rifle to anybody looking for a budget AR. It is an amazing product and I am very surprised there are not more reviews for this rifle. Give this rifle a try you will not regret it!

I first bought one of these in 2011 from Buds... I have put between 500 and 1000 rounds through it and it has been awesome!!! The only issue I had was with Tula ammo and that was only once. I even shot it rapid fire and it was accurate and ran smooth. I purchased another one because my wife wanted one... If this had a different name stamped on the lower eg. Colt it would easily cost twice as much.

I picked this up when the priced dropped down to almost 600 bucks and I'm glad I finally grabbed it. For the price it's a very nice rifle and hasn't had any failures to speak of yet. Buds had it to my FFL in about 7 business days (ordered right before the thanksgiving holiday). Out of the box the rifle functions flawlessly and the finish is terrific with no tool marks and the upper and lower fit together seamlessly with no loose or sloppy feel to it. Upon receiving it I stripped and cleaned it well as it came with a hefty coating of grease and also installed a pair of YHM flip up sights and a sling swivel & 2 point sling. Everything fit on the quad rail as it should have with no surprises. The stock has a bit of a rattle to it which I don't care for and the trigger is fairly stiff and unpolished feeling, which isn't a big deal as you can swap it out for a nicer one relatively cheaply. But again, for the price this this is a gem :) I also picked up a few extra pmags since it only comes with one magazine, they seem to fit and function perfectly fine so far. Don't let the lack of a chrome lined barrel and forward assist scare you away from this one, it's an awesome starter AR15 to begin the addiction or just a great plinker from a well know US company.

This is my first AR-15 and after 200 rounds, I am very satisfied. I've tried a variety of of ammo ranging from quality stuff to Tul/Wolf. Everything has fired and there hasn't been a single malfunction. Accuracy seems limited only by me. I'm taking one notch off of the rating as the quality of the anodizing/finish seems more fragile than other ARs I've handled and used. In addition, the free floated rail has a gap between it and the flat top - this leaves the rail notches unevenly spaced with the flat top. I know "bridging the gap" with optics is a bad thing, but this still speaks of fit and finish. Overall, in the $700-800 range of ARs, this is an amazing rifle and I highly recommend it to anyone looking in this range. Almost any concern can be addressed with an upgrade still keeping the price well below others...
