Awesome pistol. I was going to buy a Sig 220, but after holding both at my local gun shop, I was sold on the P227. Flawless pistol, plus 2 more rounds than the 220.

Fantastic Pistol. As a fan of the 45acp and the Sig P226 I was looking forward to getting my hands on the Sig P227 and I have not been disapointed. After 500 rounds I've not had a single malfunction from the P227 using Winchester, Remington, Federal and PPU 230 grain fmj cartridges. Accuracy has been excellent as well with groups in the 2" to 3" range. The trigger on my example has a very smooth DA pull and a crisp SA let off with the usual reset associated with the P series of handguns. If I could change one thing about the P227 I would update the handgun with Sig's very nice Short Reset Trigger to improve the reset, and I plan to do just that now that my initial testing has been completed. All in all an excellent handgun and excellent service from Bud's.
