The Mossberg Patriot rifle is well made for the money,fluted barrel and a twisted bolt and a dull black finish that is very tuff. I am not a fan of the plastic stock it is very cheaply made, If I purchased another it would be with a wood stock. I picked the 308 model with no sights and it is accurate. As always Bud's is Awesome and I will be back for more great buys! 4 stars because of the flemsey stock.

Great rifle for the money. High quality. When you go to a range the first thing people ask is "how much did you pay" i wish it had a threaded barrel for a Comp but a clamp on works. I took thr stock off of mine and used a MDT LSS chassis. This is the rifle if you want something to go hunting with without spending big bucks.

Always wanted a high powered rifle that would reach way out to 300yds.Heard about the new Patriot and when I saw it for sale at Buds for $299 could,nt beleive it.Went online as usually to check it out on Youtube.Did,nt find one neg view about it only praises.Saw people banging dead on shots all the way up to 300yds.Lightest high powered rifle I ever saw.Paired it up with a Nikon 4x12x40 scope.Good deal!
