I call this my "Ridiculous" Gun. It is just that! The moment I opened the box I fell in love. Pictures can not do this hand cannon justice. S & W quality is there in very detail. Smooth, solid action, Crisp trigger. The heft of this gun makes shooting it off hand challenging but really nice to slow recoil. When this gun comes out be prepared for "everyone" that sees it to stop, smile and start asking questions. After the 1st few rounds I was hooked. $2.50 - $3.75 per trigger pull makes for an expensive range day or back country boom fest, but nothing will be more memorable or fun than trigger time with this Smith & Wesson Magnum. This Hand Gun is the "KING" of my collection. Rediculous, yes... Regrets, NEVER, NEVER, EVER!!!!! (BUDS is THE place to buy)

Nice big firearm. Pictures do it no justice, must see in person to see how big it realy is. I picked up the 500 only thing I found wrong was the cylinder release button screw was loose. My friend fixed it before I took possession of it. I also purchased a bipod and a Leupold scope for it. I then took it down to my cletchy pit to shoot. Only had time to shoot 5 - 350 grain rounds from HSM. I am impressed, hardly any kick. My short barrel 44 mag kits harder. The .500 with the full blown muzzle brake is nice. The gun is so heavy you need to shoot it from a rest. The gun did not rare up with the 350 grainers. I am going to reload my brass with Hornady 500 grain bullets. This will make a fine deer gun. PS. the scope was not bore sighted when I shot it, but apeared to be close from left to right, up down is off. I will have to sight it in. I shot several big holes through a old washing machine there in the pit. I will write another post about it in the future. Happy hunting.

When you take this gun to the range, every one will stop as they will take out their cell phones and start taking pictures. This is "The Legend"...Greatest hand gun ever made.
