Three-lug 70 degree bolt utilizes full diameter bolt body and dual cocking cams. Power Bedding integral block bedding system. Hammer forged barrel. Tang safety. Four round rotary magazine. Was a great experience gun shipped really fast and arrived in great shape, have yet to shoot it as cant get to a long range but its a Ruger and I'm sure it will do great.

Another great purchase from Bud’s. This Ruger is an inexpensive, quality rifle. Threw on a Luepold VX1 that I had lying around and had it sighted in in a handful of shots. It’s a laser beam. .270 Nation!

Great gun so far. Put a few rounds of Winchester super x 150 grain through it. Didn’t measure the groups but I could easily cover them with my hand. I’m using it primarily for whitetail at ranges less than 150 yards. This gun will have no issues at all at those ranges even with cheap hunting ammo. It’s light so it’s kind of a thumper at 6.2 lbs but the recoil pad does a nice job. Trigger is excellent right out of the box. I’d definitely recommend it Ruger did a great job.

Light weight bolt action. Even with being a .270; it has less recoil than expected and the squish pad absorbs most of it. The adjustible trigger was a great addition and loved having the option out of the gate. Held freefloat status for the first 2 boxes then did a lil tweaking to keep it freefloated. Great rifle. Really like these rifles coming out of Ruger.

The first rifle I recieved had a mark/blimish on the blueing of the bolt handle. I returned it. The second rifle I recieved had a burr/dent on the pic rail...I accepted the second rifle as I needed it and knew the damage would not effect anything. The FFL I picked the gun up from actually filed down the burr and put some black paint/blueing on the mark. Now that I have the scope mounted you don't notice it. Ruger is putting these guns in the box with this damage!
