Good quality product for a budget build AR

This combined with an Anderson upper is a hard combination to beat. It is a MilSpec so expect the usual rattles and interesting noises. But that is why I got it for reliability and it will shoot any type of ammo I put in it 1200 rounds and only one FTE and no FTF's. Reliable and durable will purchase again if I build another one, Buds shipping and handling was as usual great and I highly recommend you get the insurance with all the products you buy in the firearms category.

The product failed in service 1 day after FFL transfer. The CMMG Mk4 complete lower assembly was purchased from Bud's to finish an AR15 build. The initial inspection at my FFL dealer was ok, so I signed the transfer and brought it home. Next day, I attached my trusty 300AA blackout upper, and off to the range I went. First shot the trigger bound up and wouldn't reset. I brought it home and disassembled it from the upper and had a look. I checked the trigger and yes indeed, no reset. The trigger binds up on every cycle. Comparatively, I had bought a Spikes STLC200-SBS complete lower assembly a year ago that is spot on, and it runs flawlessly. I bought the CMMG to save a couple of bucks. Guess you know where this ones going. LOL. Comparing apples to apples. The Spikes is better built inside and out. The machined casting is a lot cleaner on the Spikes. It attaches to my Anchor-Harvey casting upper receiver much tighter than the CMMG, and the anodized finish is way better on the Spikes. The CMMG trigger guard rattles, the buffer rattles, the mag catch rattles The supplied butt-stock has sharp edges all over it and the grip is even less quality than the Spikes if you can believe that!. Keep in mind, there are is less than 20 dollars difference between these two receivers at Bud's. Buyer beware. CMMG gets a poor quality rating all the way around.

Very well made lower. Should work great on my next build. One of the nicest triggers I've seen on an AR lower. Bids and CMMG or A+++.

I really like this lower. I think if has the best mil-spec trigger I have ever pulled.

Everything worked as expected. Perfect fit with my upper. Crisp trigger.
