I bought this Counterstrike to mount on my DPMS Oracle and start an entry level AR project. I had seen where people complained about mounting it with a front sight because it blocked the laser...obviously. However it is not an issue if you have an optics ready flat top. The only drawback I see is that it does pick up a little bit of a reflection from the emitter in certain lighting conditions but it's quite tolerable and doesn't distract you from the target. It mounted like a glove and zeroing it in was a snap, the on/off buttons are a little sticky but nothing that I can't live with. For the price compared to other red dot optics you can't beat it, plus it has a laser!!! Ordering it was a snap and Buds did an excellent job of shipping it out super fast and kept me updated on the progress.
