*This Covert Carry Kit is for Direct Impingement systems only.

AR15CCK COVERT CARRY AR15 KIT with Briefcase - This is a "no tools required", barrel changing system, designed to work on your current AR15 rifle/carbine.

The system is designed to use a low-profile gas block, and allows your AR15 to be broken down into three major components, for quick barrel changes, as well as covert concealment (DISCREET CARRY), or storage. A 16-inch barreled AR15, with a collapsible stock, red dot sight, and two 30 rd. mags. can be carried in a standard briefcase. Full assembly and loading to firing condition can be accomplished in less than 30 seconds, with ease. This conversion replaces the existing barrel nut and fore end. Kit includes: QC (Quick Change) Barrel nut and lock plate, a 12-inch free float fore-end, fore-end lock ring, all made from 6061 T6 Aircraft aluminum, and black anodized.  Multiple barrel systems require an additional Lock Plate for each barrel, which must be purchased separately. All this is accomplished for a third of the cost of similar systems.  Normal change out of an AR15 barrel requires several specialized tools, a vise, and about 30-45 minutes to accomplish. This system requires a one-time replacement of the original barrel nut with the QC barrel nut, and then barrel change out is done with hands only in less than 30 seconds. Gunsmith installation is recommended for initial conversion, however, most anyone with basic mechanical skills, and the proper tools can accomplish the task in less than an hour.

These will only fit Mil-spec Receivers.  They will not fit on the Bushmaster Carbon 15 Rifles.

Once conversion is completed, deployment is simple:

1. Open the briefcase, and remove the barrel and receiver unit.

2. Open the bolt, and insert the barrel into the upper receiver. While holding the barrel into the upper receiver, release the bolt.

3. Remove the fore-end tube from the briefcase and slide it over the barrel and screw tightly onto the barrel nut.

4. Extend the stock, chamber a cartridge, and your AR is ready for action.

Lifetime Guarantee on the modification kit - not the briefcase

** Includes AR15CCK quick change barrel kit and covert briefcase pictured....FIREARM IS NOT INCLUDED !!

It's a niche, lack-of-adult-supervision-in-my-life, playin' 007, had enough of Libturd BS, can't-keep-money-shoveled-out-of-my-wallet-fast-enough toy. But, just had to have it. Not disappointed; probably wouldn't buy again. Not my biggest "what-was-I-thinkin'-or NOT" episode by a long shot. If you parallel my first sentence credentials, buy it and have fun, don't look back. HINT: If you have it, get pulled over in a small one-stop-sign, rural town, and the subject somehow mistakenly floats to the top, be prepared to have Barney bug-eye freak out, and have S&Gs explainin' it to his superiors. Probably don't go to Illinois with it either. Don't ask from whence I pull this wisdom. :) :) :)

Great Gun kit. No one knows you're carrying an AR-15 in the briefcase. Gun shoots very accurately as well.

I bought this more as a novelty. It required a complete carbine rifle to assemble in addition to some specialized parts to work (low profile gas block), but it does it's job flawlessly and accompanies me regularly in a low profile way to keep me and my family protected. My only criticism is that it requires a scope/sight to aim that there isn't room for inside of the case.

Can't say enough good about this product. So far it's worked great. The briefcase is good quality and pretty much identical to the one I carried for years in my military career. There is more than enough room above the receiver to cut the foam out for an optic. I am using a Sig romeo with mine and it fits well. The adapter installs easily. I'm thinking about ordering another adapter or two for different barrels so I can easily change calibers. Overall I'm extremely happy with this unique, quality product.

I have used this on a very limited amount of times. It requires some time to change out on my AR15 and I should buy another to use for this only and not change back and forth for the situation.

Very interesting concept. And once we made design modifications it performed flawlessly. However the kit did not arrive without it's issues. Assembles well with the exception of the locking plate which has no "Attachment" means. We tried several different barrels manufactures and the barrel plate is designed with such loose tolerances the it floats and slide freely up and down the barrel making a rapid assembly all but impossible. We had to modify this product to made it function properly as it was advertised. And if contemplating this purchase, I highly recommend "NOT" purchasing the briefcase with this kit. Extremely LOW quality briefcase! Basically crap! It's a $15 briefcase at best, so not worth the $50 they are asking for it! * But after making required modifications the the locking plate by drilling and installing "Set-screws" and purchasing a quality briefcase to replace the crap case we do have a rock-solid setup and happy with it's performance...

The case has a design flaw in the form of a rivet that rubs against the hand guard during shipping so the anodizing comes pre-scuffed. One of the brief cases snap releases failed during the second week with less than one dozen open close cycles. In spite of reading and understanding the instruction about being careful not to over tighten the set screw on the receiver mounted retainer I believe I bent the barrel channel of my upper receiver slightly out of round. There is a hitch in the hand guard threading at the unused set screw location.

I have no particular need ,but I thought it could help me store the ar. Directions were understandable after I read them several times with my ar disassembled. Watch the tightening of the Allen screws. Over tightening will make it hard to insert or remove the barrel. After a couple of trips to the range one of the alignment posts fell out. I reinserted it with liq. lock washer and it has remained in place since. I am satisfied and would recommend it. This has made my AR light and fun to use

The case and components appear to be quality products. The handguard is light weight with nice knurling and finish. With the handguard snugged down there is no play in any of the components. I have assembled but not fired it yet. I wanted the handguard to screw in just a little more. There is a ring with a set screw inside the handguard that bears against the fitting that holds the barrel in. The ring was very hard to turn, even with the set screw loosened. My (redneck) solution was two flat blade screwdrivers in the turning slots in the ring with a wrench handle between them for torque. It worked, but it was ugly. My suggestion for the case is to not glue the bottom foam piece to the cutout foam piece. It will be difficult to cut the section for the scope with that bottom piece glued on. Overall, a good product and a good value.
