BSA Riflescope w/Illuminated Red Dot Reticle

Haven't mounted it yet. I was waiting to see what quality it was before deciding what rifle to put it on. It's going to be an old bolt action .22lr. The scope looks nice on the outside and the illumination looks ok, but the glass isn't too polished. It will do for plinking and squirrel hunting within 80 yards or so but mounting it on something with some kick might shorten the life span of this low dollar product. Fot the $$$ you can't complain. I'd like to have been able to put my hands on it before I put the money down. If it breaks on the mossberg 144 .22lr I'll send it back but for now it seems worth it. This is one of those on line purchases that you wish you could buy at dicks or walmart so you didn't have to go through the hassles of packing it to return it if it brakes. But, you'd pay more for it at a store. Overall I think it will work out. Hope my review helped someone and not confused the hell outta you. You will need tall rings in order to mount it. Front bell (lense) will hit the barrel with low or mid sized rings.
