How bright is the night sight? Is it worth the extra $25

It's definitely worth the money. Nice thing is you can leave the pistol on your nightstand and see the sight in the dark and find it easily.

I would have to say it really depends on what you are intending it for. If it is for home defense, absolutely as you might wake up at night (hopefully not) but with the need for it and it glows to allow you to see it. The chemical that makes it glow is the most expensive item on earth by volume (something like over 2000 bucks per gram as it is so rare). 25 is way cheaper than adding it later (100 or more usually). Also, the brightness is similar to that of a watch that glows in the dark that is "fully charged" but it glows all the time for about 10 years or so.

They are said to be significantly better than Glock's factory sights. Being pretty bright even during the day. Hope that helps!

I like the hi vid front sight which doubles as a night sight. The rear sights are steel and blacked out. Had I to do it over I'd bought a regular G43 and put Ameriglo TFO( tritium fiber optics) with a bright orange or red front and not paid extra for the Talo model. This pistol holds 6+1 which one magazine has a grip extension and one is flush both have the same capacity. There are aftermarket extensions but I'd check out ETS cause they make a 9rd and 12rd magazine that fits the G42&43 as well as other Glock models. Now I have wide hands and short fat fingers so I practice shooting both mags starting out at about 5yds then moving back. I usually run 115gn Tula or 124Blazer through it. It seems to prefer the Blazer which shoots much cleaner and the Tula I had several mags fail to lock open after the last round and after about 50rds it was filthy! My Glock 19 ran flawlessly even with the cheaper Tula ammo. I also shot a 50rd box of Federal 115gn JHP and the G43 shot them very accurately. I've got some 147gn Federal HST +P I'm gonna try through it next time at the range. I bought another 1000rds of Tula ammo but these are copper fmj steel cases and not the silver zinc tips so gonna test these out through my Glocks and M&P9. I did notice some wear on the magazine follower on both G43 Mags, they were slightly pitted out from the edge of the head rim rubbing as they loaded.

We have the right of self defense and the right to defend others from harm or loss of life. That's it. It is my belief I am not going to be in a firefight and if I am I will bring my AR15 until the police arrive. Most likely I will need only one to three shots. This pistol is more that adequate and packs the same punch of bigger Glocks of the same caliber. It rides nice in my IWB holster

Really great little pistol. It's so light you can almost forget you're carrying a pistol at times. The trigger is a bit heavy in my opinion, and was obviously designed for the concealed carry market. The grip is very smooth, so for me it needs some grip tape or something to make the grip easier to hold on to. That said, the pistol is 100% reliable and should be very accurate after getting used to the heavier trigger.

The Glock 43 is sweet and simple - have put about 150 rounds through it (so far ;-) with no jams or stovepipes. Am able to maintain groups of less than 3 inches for 90% of my shots at 7 yards (where the outliers were my fault, not the gun) The Ameriglo sights on my model are easy to use and make target acquisition in low light much easier. It is easily concealable but I do recommend that you get a mag base plate extension if you have big hands. I am very pleased

Solid little gun. The sight upgrade was right up my alley with the blacked out rear. Didn't even have to drift the rear sight, it was right on at 25'. Sold a Ruger LC9s Pro to get this Glock. Glad I did.

Great carry gun for when I can't carry something as large as my Glock 19 and others in that size. The sights are great. With the blacked out u notch rear, my eyes are immediately drawn to the orange outlined front sight. Reliable as can be.

the 43 is a great CCW. Its slim size makes it comfortable and I have no issue carrying in a pocket with a pocket holster. No excuse for leaving without it, as sometimes would happen with my commander sized 1911s. The Talo edition is a goo value as it comes with my favorite sight style, plain black steel U notch rear and bright tritium front with large orange ring for daylight situations.
