I bought this model three years ago from Bud's when it was on sale. As usual, Bud's service was great. Have had Mossberg shotguns for decades with great results, but recognized that this was a Brazilian gun produced for but not manufactured by Mossberg. Reviews of the gun indicated quality control issues that had improved over time. I really liked the appearance, balance, and especially the sights. I used it for three years, but recurring problems with the magazine lock mechanism and sticky bolt finally made me get rid of it recently. Probably got my money's worth out of it, but the poor build quality when compared to my Savage MkII (also from Bud's) was disappointing.

Purchased this rifle for small game hunting with quiet -22 ammo from CCI. Wanted a bolt 22lr since the ammo wouldn't cycle my Marlin 60 and the shell would get stuck in battery all the time. This little rifle is lightweight and very accurate! If I do my part, it cuts targets in half at 50 yards. Just print across the paper. It hands down out shoots my Marlin 60. Both have 3-9x40 scopes on them, and even from a rest there is a difference. I was surprised for sure! Haven't had any issues with it, even the trigger pull is decent from the factory. Definitely became my new squirrel gun! It's super quiet with the CCI ammo as well. I've even plinked in the backyard with it and it's quieter than a few of my pellet rifles!

Great little rifle very tight when I got it but after I cleaned it and loved it I've only shot a hundred rounds through it still needs to be broken good but it does shoot right to point of aim and it's not a whole lot of money so works out real well for the kids to practice on

Beautiful gun for the money. I wanted something to shoot subsonic .22 in my backyard with a longer barrel and non-semi. This does the trick. Great for taking out coons.

Bought this for my father for christmas and he absolutely loves it. The gun has a heavier and solid feel to it. the finish and wood stock are astetically pleasing as well. After sighting it in we picked off a couple yotes at 60 yards with easy. very smooth action. only complaint is the mag and mag well. the plastic mag makes releasing the mag and pulling it out a little rough. Dad fixed that with a couple other metal mags and there isn't a complaint to be had after 200 rounds
