Rifle was received exactly as advertised and configured exactly at to what I ordered. The rifle action was smooth with a full magazine shoot through the rifle. No jamming or miss feeding occurred during the initial testing.

After looking at the G2 rifles: Oracle, AP4, MOE and Recon I settled on the MOE. The Oracle is too basic, AP4 good if you want a light weight barrel but GI furniture, Recon is ready to go but a little heavier. MOE was Goldylocks for me. Magpul furniture with the light weight chrome lined barrel and muzzlebrake. Added my own Midwest Industries light freefloat handguard to create a light weight Recon. Ran flawless on the ZQI and surplus NATO ammo I had. I think its a SCAR killer for 1/3 the price. Check out my feature length video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWr7VWdjzYw

This is a great rifle. It's exceptionally handy for a 308, points very naturally shoots great. My only real complaint would be the trigger guard. I'm not a fan of the guard being milled into the lower and would prefer one that I could switch out. But that's really about it. The fit and finish are good, it has run reliably, it shoots accurately, and recoils softly. I think DPMS has a real winner with this rifle.

nice weapon except trigger. 8 pounds and gritty had it replaced with an after market drop in and it runs sweet.

I purchased this rifle from Buds and am extremely pleased with it. The accuracy is fantastic, printing 3/4 inch groups at 100 yds using 165 gr FMJ ammunition. It is easy to keep on target, even with a fully loaded magazine. I replaced a much heavier AR in 308 cal. and this is easier to carry for extended periods and shoot, as I have an artificial left shoulder and the lighter weight of this rifle is very pleasing to handle. Function was flawless and I am looking forward to some long range shooting in the next few days. Texas Hogs, here we come!

This rifle is so much fun. Super light and manageable recoil. After several hundred rounds of both .308 and NATO.. not one hiccup. DPMS fan for life.. they nailed it with this one.

if your in the market for a 308 ar style rifle this is a great choice would definitely recommend not much more recoil than a 5.56 ar has been 100% reliable

Outstanding firearm. My first AR chambered in a 308, and was pleased with both accuracy and smooth action. Not much more kick than a 223. I would definitely recommend this to any friend /family. Buds service was great, as was my FFL.
