The TP-9 modular semiautomatic 9mm pistol is the latest "fun gun" from DSA, Inc. Manufactured by famed Swiss firearms manufacturer Brugger & Thomas, the TP-9 is civilian legal in the USA and accommodates a wide variety of tactical accessories on its M-1913 Picatinny rail surfaces. Utilizing a recoil operated rotating barrel system, the TP-9 delivers accuracy, mild recoil and excellent handling characteristics in a compact, lightweight package. Other important features include three safeties (trigger, firing pin drop and manually operated cross bolt), (1) 15 round and (1) 30 round magazine and a gun case.

So far so good. Finally received the firearm. Visually impressive. Looks good with a Sig Sauer STS-081 red dot sight mounted on the top rail. Comes with a sling. The sling enables the shooter to lock and hold the gun in a very sturdy shooting position. Almost feels solid like a shoulder stock except that you are pushing on the sling vice pulling a stock into the shoulder. I will not be able to shoot it for another week. Field stripping is pretty easy. The charging handle is like a "mini M16" charging handle and feels a little flimsy. With a full magazine, red dot sight mounted and a flashlight/laser combination, the gun feels pretty hefty in weight. So far, no regrets with the purchase. Hopefully she will perform as good as she looks. Also the price that I paid for it through Buds, I could not find anywhere else (_ 1000). Only 4 stars until I shoot it.
