With all the Alabama red clay between my toes, I just had to have the Remington RM380 MICRO 380 AL INAUGURAL. It's a beautiful little pistol that I sometimes carry when it's not convenient to carry my 38 SPL.

nice little gun, but has heavy and long trigger pull....all reviews I have seen show this little gun functioning without issues. I have not fired yet as I am treating this model as a collectors issue. I think as long as you know this is no range gun, it will it will serve for up close and personal self defense situations.

I bought the Alabama Inaugural version of this RM380. Getting the locking pin out was a no brainer, very easy and the springs and guide rod are not under extreme tension. Cleaned the usual new-gun scum out of the barrel that looks like a miniature cannon with the belled end. That took a couple minutes from out of the box. The real surprise was putting it back together. I am gentle with mechanisms; getting the pin back through the underlug in the barrel took some fiddling. You must allow the barrel to float, not lock-up in the slide. There are videos that describe the 3-handed technique required for reassembly. Very nice gun and I have bought 10 or so from Buds because of the layaway plan and free shipping.

I've carried an LCP for years and never thought another "pocket 380" could take its place. However I'm loving this pistol. The recoil is a lot better than my LCP and it's also very accurate for such a short barreled pistol. I've shot several different brands and types of ammo with no malfunctions at all. This is now my new EDC pistol. Buds was also great and super fast delivery.

Shoots well. Long double action pull which can be an advantage if carried in the pocket. Shot FMJ's, HP's and ARX ammo. Functioned well. No failure to feed or jams. Accuracy is good at 7 yds. Did not try any targets beyond 7 yds.

Researched this unit well before purchase. Very satisfied with quality and performance, well done Remington. Buds was awesome as always and continues as the standard by which I judge others.

Great little gun. Runs flawlessly right out of the box. Shoots nice tight groups. Sights could be better but a little paint will fix that!

First off I have had a lot of 380 pocket guns and most all of them have some good and bad points, but this little pocket is wonderful, tear down is a breeze and it is VERY accurate, Remington made some very nice design improvements on this little pistol. I have the black one also but really like the Stainless steel version with the engraving on it, I did add the laser from the black one on to this one and have a nice little pocket holster and it is one of the first carry guns I actually have with me all the time. Black or Stainless you will not regret getting one and it will most likely be your go to carry gun, the trigger is long but not heavy and a long pull is a good thing on a gun like this that does not have a safety.
