Love the looks of this gun. Feels great in my hand. Reliability is awesome. Bud's was good and on time. I struggle with shooting Springfields accurately for some reason, but my kid can hit anything with this pistol. So I am still happy to give it 5 stars, as my only complaint is probably my lack of skill!

Kudos to Buds for a great buying experience: this is the third firearm from buds with no problem. When I received my XDs in 45 ACP I was very pleased, It came in a good plastic case with one 5 round mag and two 6 round mag, and a second back strap to change out if needed and a cable lock. The five round mag was way to short for my hand but the 6 round mag had a much better feel. I would have been very happy the with 6 rounds mag in the; pistol; however, I ordered three 7 round mags for capacity sake. I personally have no issue concealing the 45 with the seven round mag,...however, some people might, which in that case the 6 round would most likely be a good choice. At the range, using 230 grain ball and hollow points at 7 yards the gun shot really well and recoil was much milder than I have experienced to out of a 1911. Very glad I bought the XDs...no regrets.

Another great buy from buds this little sprig Field XDs 45 is a great carry gun been carrying a 9mm but this little power house changed my mind. Has a little recoil but it's shooting a lot of bullet , so i'll give it a 5 star

Great gun good trigger shoots straight and when I want it too purchased this gun to replace a S&W shield with a lousy trigger pull.

Accurate, reliable and solid just wish I had bought it in 9mm instead of 45 acp. Not the guns fault though. It ate everything I fed it and was fairly accurate. Very versatile with the magazine selection. The only two issues I could come up with were it was heavy for its size. It felt like I was carrying a 4 inch 1911. The second issue was I shot my Glock 36 much better so the XDS in 45 just didn't seem to be worth holding on to. Gave the gun 5 stars it just didn't match up to me as well as I had hoped. Can't penalize the weapon for the operator's poor decision.

Sold my Glock to purchase the XDS in 45acp best decision I've made in a long time. Only run a couple of clips through it so far (waiting for better weather) no malfunctions. The recoil really surprised me very comfortable not much more than a 9mm Taurus PT111 that I own.Very concealable and a pleasure to carry all day.Buy it if you are thinking about it you will not be disappointed.

Buds is awesome as usual, flawless. The XDs .45 shoots flawless for me. I have ran from the cheapest to most expensive ammo and it fed with no problems at all. Highly recommended gun
