Manufacturers Part # 344730

The Colt 1873 Single Action Army revolver was arguably the best-selling pistol ever produced. Colt single actions were manufactured in numerous calibers. The bird’s head grip design was not new when Colt introduced the full-sized Lightning and Thunderer six-guns in 1877. The grip design had been used on Colt Derringers since the 1850s. Regardless, the Old West cowboys came to call these 1877 models Bird’s Head Colts.

Looks good and feels good in your hand, recoil is very controllable with the hook in the handle. Some advice, purchase Bud's warranty other wise you will end up with what I got, a loose ejector rod housing with no recourse but to go to the manufacture or have a gunsmith work the problem out. Also one thing you need to look for in Uberti firearms is mill marks this pistol has caused problems with the cylinder turning,
