Someone told me that these were really great guns for the buck. Well they were wrong. I got two of these, the first one would the mag would not release and I had so many FTFs and stove pipes. As for the second one the mag would release but was so inaccurate, you couldn't hit a target at 10yds. I would not recommend these guns to anyone. Save your money and get a Glock, Springfield, or a Kimber. Buds was awesome as usual.

I bought 2 of these back in march 2015 when they were $206.00 each. the guns alone are a 4STAR at what i paid id say a 3 star at the $270 mark and a 2star if you take into account CIA' policies. before i bought them i of course went thru the comments and googled them to see if any issues repeated themselves. as with anything mass produced flaws happen and people can miss them of reading them 2 things stuck out to me. shooting low and sticky mags these didn't have me concerned much for 206 bucks. i only planed these to be range guns for friends and family so after my FFL got them i of course inspected them. the first one i opened was just about flawless for a 206 dollar gun. mags dropped free finish was solid nothing bound up cycling it was very impressed at this point. then came the second one it to looked well cycled good mag didn't drop free but nothing some light sanding cant fix. but in my new gun excitement fog i missed a major flaw in the barrel and that led me to CIA's absurd policies and they themselves agreed on that. the flaw was in the seam of the barrel where they attract the camber to the rifled barrel. there was about a 5/8th inch long and .3mm deep chip in that seam of course this to me is clearly unsafe. so the next day after picking them up from my FFL i contacted CIA told them of the issue sent pictures. of course it was a friday so i had the weekend to wait till i got word from them on what needed to happen. i assumed they would just send out a replacement barrel and id send the bad one in. BOY was i wrong on Monday i got a email saying it was indeed a problem duh and needed to be sent in. well i called them at this point requesting just a replacement barrel well they don't stock replacement barrels. even if they did there policies would still require it being sent in as because now SIT down for this one. REMOVING the barrel was deemed above the stranded disassembly and would VOID my warranty......................... needless to say i argued with them on this on how absurd it was and they said we know but its how there policies are. at this point the word policies had been said to me 1 to many times but there was still a flood of it to come.
now as i have lost all hope of reasoning with them i say ok lets just send it in so now i have 3 options to choose from REPAIR/REPLACE/ OR REFEUND well at this point i was already told they dont stock barrels and they had NO replacement guns on hand so if it was deemed a major flaw i was left with only 1 option REFUND...... now on how there refund policies work they DONT refund you they refund who ever bought the gun from them. so in this case its buds but if your unlucky you could be buying it after its moved to 3 or 4 dealers before purchase. now fast forward 6 weeks later FINALLY heard from them and it was deemed a cosmetic flaw and sent back to me. but the last kicker is the paper work i got back with it now i had never fired the gun. buds bought it sold it to me sent it to my FFL i sighed for it got home had it for four days and mail it off to CIA. what i got back was a USED from there 7 shot test firing firearm per there paper work and said should be inspected by a gunsmith..... rofl. if i hadn't seen that paper work with my own eyes id say i was crazy. like isaid at the start of this crazy long rant the guns stand alone are ok but CIA id never buy another one just because of THERE policies

Simply one of the grooviest firearms in my collection. Zastava has always spoken reliability to me, as has Bud's. I love the Tok platform, and the ease of the ubiquitous 9mm cart teamed with the slender 1911-ish profile translated to as much fun as I could ask for. Cap all of this off with a machined sheen that garners more value than asking price.

The range experience did not leave me unhappy. My new Tok devoured every Winchester White Box, TulAmmo Steel Case and Hornady Critical Defense. Sights needed zero coaxing and 25 yards gave me fist-sized groups in outdoor range winds.

Bud's delivered to my preferred FFL in four days, and the value overall is unparalleled.

Purchased the M70a in 9mm inly 4 days ago. Issues:\r\n1. The front bushing can NOT be removed which means the barrel can not be taken out ( stuck in position - designed to move around 180 degrees) 2. There is 1-2mm space/gap between the slide and the pistol frame ( the guide rod /spring can be seen when assembled / ONE side only)which means debris can go inside and interfere with operation - semi-automatic pistol ( improrer fit slide to frame) 3. Magazine grinding - very hard going in and out. Contacted Budguns customer service and they stated can not be taken back because the transfer happened 4 days ago. Shipped to Century Arms Int. for warranty service or replacement and I will update with the outcome. I think sometimes defective products can be produced but most important lets see the reliability of CAI - how they stand up behind their products ! I think it is defective handgun with serious structural manufacturer defect and has to be replaced - sold as \"new\" handgun ... I did ask for replacement ... Will update once CIA offers solution
UPDATE ( 35 days after receiving the handgun) :
Century Arms stated " CAN NOT " be repaired. Budgunshop.com went out of their way to assist me in regards getting a replacement. I received the new handgun replacement very fast via FREE next day shipment ( Budgunshop. Com did take care of it). The new one came in - perfect condition. Quality handgun at low price ! Thank you David at Budgunshop.com for all of your help in regards this replacement ! Highly recommending Budgunshop.com as a dealer - very efficient and professional !

I have two of these guns now due to how much I liked the first one. I picked the second one up while the price was still in the $200 range. (I mean $200 for a all-metal pistol!!). Anyway, the second one was just a reliable as the first one, but a little less accurate. Maybe that was due to me being a little tired from a long session of shooting, but I feel like it was a little off from my first one. Don't get me wrong, for this price point and my intended use for this pistol, I am still very happy with this purchase. Again, I got it for a mere $200. Can't go wrong even if it gets the snot beat out of it.

Go get one now before the price goes up even more. Get it for a stash/bury vault gun. Get it for a torture test. Just get it because it's a fun gun to have in your collection. Enjoy.
