Made in the famous Zastava factory in Serbia., the M70A uses the popular 9x19mm round. Based on the famous Soviet TT design with additional features, like a 9 rd. mag. I am not into the Plastic or Polymer pistol scene anymore. Too many failures and fractures. I will stick with a Steel Pistol. Mine was ready to shoot right out of the case. I still cleaned and oiled it first and used Gunslick on the sliding parts. I shot 150 rounds of Armscor 124 grain FMJ . Not issues what so ever. Easy to control. I trust my life with it. It is my everyday carry. I guess I am old school. Buds was great to deal with as always.

Had this gun for a little while and fires ok. The trigger is a little scratchy and the magazine hangs up when inserting into the mag well. Sights are not good and required a lot of adjustment to get the bullet even close to the center of the target.

Just got my M70a. I have 3 M57's. This one surprised me and came in a nice plastic carry case. Gun was recent manufacture per proof tag of Nov 2013. Very stiff slide. Loosened up a bit after a few rounds. I love this pistol. May buy another. Thanks Buds. May take a little extra time when you order. These are drop shipped to BUDS from another vendor.

At first I was a little hesitant on purchasing the M70A due to the low price (which was actually what brought me to the gun initially) and I had never seen on in person. I also had worries of machining issues. I picked it up from my FFL and was pleased to see it came in a nice plastic case, two mags and a cleaning brush. We agreed it looks a whole lot better in person. Pictures make it look dull and boring. It ate everything I fed it, all steel 9mm so very little recoil. Out of the box I found the trigger as very predictable. I'm no marksman, so I was pleased with 4-5" groups at 12 yards with bottom shelf ammo. For the price I am very pleased, I may buy another to work on, and one for the truck.

This is my first order from Bud's and I had a very positive experience. I'm already planning my next order.

I purchased this pistol based on numerous reviews, both on this site and elsewhere. I am very pleased with my purchase. I like it's look, weight and feel. To this point I have only run 50 rounds through it but have had zero issues whatsoever. My intent in purchasing it was to use it as my truck gun and I think it will suit that purpose extremely well. After I run some rounds through it I will post an update but I believe it will serve it's purpose extremely well.
