Very accurate, needed a few boxes of ammo to break in. Unfortunately gun was stolen 9/9/2015.

All I can say is - what a great gun. For the price I doubt you will find anything even close in quality and reliability. I own several Beretta's but I am very tempted to call this my favorite now. Myself being from Serbia, where this gun is made, I thought I might be a little biased but other people that shot it were very impressed as well and are most likely going to buy it. Pros: chrome barrel, slide release/decocker all in one, all metal hefty frame, triple threaded recoil spring, takedown is easy, ambidextrous controls. Cons (if I am being picky): average quality plastic grips, there is no trigger stop so it hits the frame on every trigger pull (so if you want to avoid scratches just put a small piece of black tape there), and mag release button sticks out more than usual which I thought would bother me while holding the gun tight while shooting - but it didn't at all. Being imported it will probably be harder to find replacement and aftermarket parts. I would highly recommend it, you will not regret the purchase.

great firearm. great for both left and right handed shooters. gets a lot of attention from other shooters and even more when they hear the price. very similar to p226. didnt come with plastic case as stated but i will survive. put 400 rounds through it since purchase 1 stove pipe..very impressed with reliability. surprisingly accurate. trigger could be better

This CZ-999 gun is like someone wrote earlier a TANK !!!! wow what a gun. Worth every penny, solid built, accurate and fits nicely . Little heavy but i can live with that . A year ago after buying my Tisas Zigana Sport from Buds, I thought that was it buying guns, then I buy a High Point Carbine from Buds and now I bought a CZ999 9mm. This gun is Awesome, feels like a tank, frame to slide is nice and tight, half inch groups at twenty five feet, no issues at all, breakdown is a breeze. Anyone who can't afford a Sig 226, this is what you want, in fact a friend of mine likes it better than his Sig 226 mostly for the ambidextrous slide & mag release. I figured out why I keep buying guns; it's because of the great prices and awesome service I get from BudsGunShop.

Wow. First, Buds is top notch. I lost count as to how many firearms I've purchased but I've never been let down. Thank you Team Buds. Now for the Zastava CZ999...I am speechless. I have been a 1911 fan for as long as I can remember, I think since I was about nine and my father let me shoot my grandfather's. At any rate, I have been fascinated with the Sig 226 for years but with the economy the way it is, and the job I have, things have been tight. Im sure we've all been there with the wife. At long last, I scoured the internet for 226 clones, and came upon the Zastava CZ999. Man what a pistol. I couldn't wait for it to arrive and test it out. I literally looked at pics every night for weeks and read reviews on this firearm. Finally the day came and I ordered it. My new love arrived today, Friday the 18th of April, 2014. I had a box of 250 rds of remington UMC 115 GR at hand so I proceeded to the range. I put all six of the mags (yes I preplanned) through the paces and had no failures. It was a TANK! We (my son and I) took a break and had a bag of beef jerky, drank some water, then went right back to shooting. The problem was that my son dropped the pistol in some sand (the pistol had the factory lube on it) so I was a little concerned. I quickly broke down the firearm (EASY!), wiped off the excess sand, and we went back to work. That process took about three minutes. Zero failures again. Bottom line... for an economical Sig clone, this is twice as good. Sig does not have ambi controls, or a decocker like this. The reason I say twice as good is that for 330 dollars, you get a Sig quality pistol (with the looks) with ambi controls (as I am left handed) for 1/3 the price. Not only does the decocker work well, but is serves as the slide lock as well, BRILLIANT! As far as accuracy, the shooter determines that... Mine was a tack driver. If you want looks and a brand name, buy the Sig. If you want a crisp trigger, a solid firearm, and a budget gun, buy the 999. The 999 does have some machining marks and is not the most picture worthy pistol, but you don't buy a chrome hammer to build a house. If you want something that will work, be accurate, and have a budget, the 999 is for you. (If you are a Sig fan). I will say that I am now NOT a Sig fan, but a Zastava fan. Thanks again Buds.

The pistol is awesome, great action, chrome plated barrel, very accurate, fits in sig 226 holsters. This pistol is worth every cent I payed. However it did take 2 WEEKS to get to my dealer, and the make an offer section is useless, Buds wants to bargain over 2-3 dollars which isnt worth anyones time
