Love this pistol so far. I have 100 rounds through it. No FTF or FTE so far. 18th round is definitely hard to get in on each mag but it does in fact hold 18. If this is your first pistol I recommend getting a proper cleaning kit. The provided cleaning rod is plastic and broke on me. That is my only complaint I have but it's a VERY minor complaint. All in all great pistol.

I love this gun. 1350 rounds through and not one single malfunction. And I've shot everything from Winchester white box to cheap lacquer coated steel case. And not a single hiccup. The Canik TP9 has been nothing but a pure joy. Even cleaning has been a cinch. Canik's have always been great guns for the money, but this takes it to a whole new level. And for all that you get from a reliable gun and the included accessories. Its hard to beat!

This was my second handgun / purchase from Buds. Once again came through with flying colors! I decided on the TP9 after watching a review on youtube by Nutnfancy. He gave it rave reviews, and for the price I figured it was worth a shot. (pun intended) I've run all kinds of cheap and expensive ammo through it without any kind of hiccup whatsoever. Because of this gun, I've become a fan of Canik and Century Arms. The quality you get for the price you pay makes them a no brainer. I've since brought the S-120, and will be getting the TP9sa also. You won't regret buying this gun.

Really surprised with this gun. I wasn't expecting much with such a cheap gun, but this thing shot flawlessly right out of the box. Definitely a sub MOA gun from 7 yds. standing. Amazing ergonomics, and fits the hand perfect. It comes with 2 different holster attachments and a serpa-style holster with great retention, a speed loader, interchangeable back strap, cleaning brush/tool, and two 18-round magazines. What more could you ask for? The trigger isn't nearly as bad as everyone says it is. Trigger breaks very crisply in the single action position. "De-cocker" was a little hard to activate the first time, but it gets better with use...and I personally don't see why it's needed. I also didn't personally like the coloration of this gun, but that is due to my error and my opinion about the "second kind of cool." Buds is still awesome.

Fired 17 rounds through this today on rapid fire. Aluminum cased federal 115 fmj. Perfect, no problems. It's hard to badmouth a product like this at this price. There are a few minor things though. #1 I was only able to load 17 rounds in the claimed 18 round mec gar magazines. I have seen numerous reviews stating 18 rounds could be loaded, but not the two I received. A mystery maybe mec gar could resolve? #2 Rear sight was slightly loose. Took a screw driver to it and turned the adjusting screw just a tad. Tightened it up #3 The speed loader is junk... Does not push the rounds down far enough to make inserting next round easier. The Good #! Very reliable #2 Price Great bug out or car gun.....Expendable #3 So many goodies come with this its ridiculous Summary The good far outweighs the negatives.......As NutNFancy put it..........Have you bought this yet???

I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS GUN ! This is my first time buying a pistol on line and I was a little bit skeptical about it. A 9mm with 18 + 1 rounds, polymer frame and would cost only $300 !!!!! this was a steal. It was shipped to my preferred FFL in less than 7 business days. Inspected the unit and was amazed with the reaction that I got with the sales representatives who have heard about this firearm. Shot 100 rounds immediately and was very pleased. I am not an advanced shooter but a mere novice. I was surprised I was able to hit bulls eye @ 7 yards 4 out of 15 shots and a grouping of no more than 5 inches in diameter, even the range officers wanted to shoot the weapon and stated " the trigger pull is very crisp! ". Did I forget to mention about the serpa type holster and extra magazine and extra backstrap and extra front sights and the cleaning rod and brush. Ned I say more???? BUY THIS GUN !!!!!

Well... I just took this gun out for the first time, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed. It runs like an absolute champ in single-action mode, but with the hammer decocked, the primer strikes are too light. Once I noticed the issue, I shot a few entire mags by decocking after every shot. I used a couple different types of ammo, to see if that made a difference. It didn't. Almost all rounds took at least 2 strikes. I think I only had one round in 3 mags that went off on the first strike. If I didn't want to be able to carry it, or didn't intend to carry it with a loaded chamber, this wouldn't be as much of a big deal. However decocker is my preferred safety method, and it's what steered me toward this gun, versus a S&W SD9VE. I very much want to like this gun. I do like the way it feels, points, shoots, and cycles. We'll have to see how this gets resolved. I'll be contacting customer service tomorrow (it's Sunday, today). However, right now, I'm disappointed. I'm leaving a neutral rating, because I'm hopeful that Century will take care of me, and I like all the other aspects of this gun. Unfortunately, the one thing that doesn't currently work, is the one little niche feature that steered me toward this gun, and whatever the resolution is, I'm sure it's going to be a pain in my neck to get there.

Canik 55 tp9 is built very well. Fit and finish are better than expected for the price. I wanted the best value I could find in a high capacity 9 mm. I have bigger hands and it is easy to grip. Comes with 2 mags which is rare these days. The box is packed full of extras. Nice gun if your on a budget.
