WOW, just picked up the gun today and I am impressed with the fit and finish. Nice piece for the price. I hear nothing but positive feedback, going to take it to the range and do a quick eval for myself. As allways Bud's is NUMBER 1 ! Don't but my guns anywhere else.

Nice gun, really like it. I'll save myself some typing and just say Tony C pretty much nailed it on his review.

Went to the range a couple days ago and there is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this gun. It puts lead down stream exactly where pointed; I was able to keep groupings with this gun just as tight and tighter as I can with my Laser equipped Commander at 25 to 30 feet. The gun came with 2 8-round mags made by ACTMAG to which I had heard lots of complaint about feeding issues so I purchased 2 CMC PowerMag+ ahead of time and can say that I could have saved my money as the gun flawlessly fed from 6 different mags without so much as a hiccup. Absolutely zero issue in 100 rounds of Blazer ammo. It was both interesting and fun to have brought the Commander along too as I was able to see, feel and hear the differences in the two similarly sized 1911's with the full sized gun having a slightly tamer recoil. Slide to frame fit is very tight without any binding at all; and the same can be said about the barrel bushing fit too thus this gun does not rattle at all. I was also pleased to see small unexpected extras in that the mag well is beveled, the feed ramp and barrel throat is very nicely shaped and smoothed. I was also pleased to see that the gun is already equipped with a full length guide rod and has a very nice crisp trigger. All in all I can't say enough good stuff about this gun especially for the price paid to which it even stood up quite well in the looks dept to a much more costly Springfield Custom 1911 that also showed up at the range. The only minor complaint I have is that the plain Novak type sights are just a little hard for me to pick up on as the front blade is rather narrow; that and I simply did not care for the light colored wood used in the grips. To their credit I think they were made of mahogany and were nicely checkered and carried the double diamond pattern too but their light color just did not do much for me.
