The 1911 RCS is quite possibly the quintessential concealed carry 1911. The RCS – which stands for 1911 Compact SAS – comes from the SIG SAUER® Customs Shop and has been put through the SIG Anti-Snag treatment which our gunsmiths developed to radically dehorn a pistol. Available in either a Natural Stainless (shown) or Nitron® finish the RCS comes with low profile night sights, checkered front strap (25-lpi), checkered mainspring housing (20-lpi) and slim profile custom wood grips. The grips are either gray diamondwood on the Stainless model or rosewood on the Nitron® version. Each of these 7+1 capacity RCS model 1911 pistols features a stainless steel slide, alloy frame, match grade barrel, hammer/sear set and trigger. The slides and frames are machined to exacting tolerances and hand-fitted to insure reliability and performance.

Outstanding small 1911, very light & crisp trigger, silky smooth slide, excellent night sights, great holster or concealed carry 1911. Lightweight frame, so there is some recoil but this one isn't meant to shoot 1000 rounds at the range for target practice. It's very accurate, but for target shooting, you're better off with a full-size 5" barrel steel-frame 1911, like the Sig Sauer Scorpion or Extreme models. A+++++++, I believe that Sig Sauer 1911 are among the best value 1911s on the market today, especially the ones that come with factory night sights.

Received my SIG 1911 CO perfect out of the box. Packed well in it's own plastic bag in a nice padded case. The weapon was immaculate and of obvious quality. Took it home and easily disassembled for cleaning. Looked just as good on the inside. Have fired about 250 rounds of FMJ and Hollow Point with no malfunctions whatsoever. Sweet functioning weapon that is very accurate. Love the night sights and ergonomics. Very comfortable to carry. I'm replacing a officers model colt for concealed carry. My theory was that the longer sight picture with the short frame coupled with the alloy frame should serve me well. It's lived up to this and more. Very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend.

Purchased this Sig as an alternate off duty carry instead of my Walther .32. This gun is worth every penny. The gun is extremely accurate for a 4.2" length. 50 rounds from the 15 and 25yd line were all kept in the body box of a standard Q size target. Would not be out of the question for head shots out to the 30-35 yd range. This is not a fully loaded Springfield Operator, but for what it is designed for, concealed carry in a .45 ACP round, more then does the job, and not bad to look at either!

Great deal on a great gun. I absolutely love this pistol. Comfortable to carry, beautifully finished, and is probably the most accurate pistol I have to date. Combining an Officer-sized grip frame with a Commander-sized 4.25" barrel/slide length in the 1911 RCS Two-Tone model is what drew me too this 1911 along with Sig Sauer’s proven performance track record. I experienced no malfunctions with the Sig Sauer RCS while test firing over 400 rounds at the range. Thanks again Buds for another (Third) flawless purchase!

This is my second sig and my second 1911. I have to say the tolerances on this gun are very tight. generally 1911's tend to be loose and rattle when you shake them but not so with the sig. I've handled many 1911's and this is a high quality gun. I put 200 rounds through it today with out a single failure. It is very accurate and so far it its been reliable. The only issue I have is that the slide is a bit wider than other 1911's so finding a holster may be a challenge.
