Awesome gun. Fast delv. Thanks Buds! No failure to fire or failure to eject. I have not had any issues with the Armscore mags that comes with the pistol. Very tight slide to frame fit. Great trigger. Sights are Novak style with no dots, which are ok. I did make some small dots with a dremel tool and painted white, worked very nicely. May change out later with some night sights. Grips are a little light in color, but they can easily be changed. Overall a very nice gun for the money. Not as nice as my SA 1911 but it cost 3x more. I'm very happy with the Citadel 1911. You wont be disappointed.

What a great deal! It’s not the perfect 1911, but for the price, it’s a really nice one. I got it Tuesday, cleaned it up and put 200 rounds through it on Friday without any problems. The Citadel shoots straight and reliable, and so far I am 100% happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone. For a sub $500.00 1911, it comes already upgraded with some of the same bells and whistles that the higher end 1911s come with, has about a 5lb trigger pull and is a blast to shoot. Buds service was great throughout the entire transaction. With all this, I'll probably look into getting the compact Citadel soon.

I bought this for my wife after shooting many other people's 1911's. We have taken it to 2 different range sessions for a total of around 500 rounds so far. The only thing it won't fire is Russian Brown bear other than that I was surprised how it shot 230gr hollow points so well with the factory feed ramp. These are Armscor outsource contracts and Ive never had a problem with any Armscor Pistols I have shot. We love it!

Not a bad pistol, for the price. All-in-all it's a nice piece. The magazines are less then stellar though. Out of the box, the weapon jammed on the last shot, every time, both mags.
Adding extra-power springs to the mags fixed the problem. The extractor is pretty rough, as well. It mangles brass pretty badly. May be an issue if you're a reloader.
I am definitely not unhappy though. The only thing that I'd go so far as to say is a "complaint" is that processing time before shipment could have been a little faster. It fell within bud's advertised "3-7 business days", but I feel that 7 business days is a bit on the slow side.

Regardless, I am content with the purchase, and will definitely order from Bud's again! :)

When I received the pistol had a sear spring problem. After
When I received the gun the disconnector was put in backwards and the sear spring needed adjusted. I put a new recoil spring in from Wolff and it made a world of difference. I shot it for the first time and I can not believe how accurate this pistol is. After doing some work on this pistol this gun did amaze me. I am pleased with the purchase of this pistol. I guess you can have these problems with any manufacture.
