This was a deal not to be passed up! I have been waiting to find one of these for about a year now. When they do turn up on other gun sites there almost always going for upwards of $1000.00! Buds was perfect as always. I really keep saying when I order a gun from buds, that there's no way they can deliver! And they always come through! There were two things on the last two guns I got that I wish were different. First always use a good FFL That has a store front. Guys that work at being a FFL part time WILL NOT chase your gun down! Second I wish buds would e-mail once the gun leaves there store. I'm sure it's because of the high volume and no time. No big deal, if you check your order status. As for the gun it's a real gem! Nice tight fit and finish, I loaded up a magazine and it's a real straight shooter! This is my 9th 1911 and I rank it up with my kimber, sig's, Dan wesson, and STI.! It's a real complete package gun! Thanks again buds! Look forward to my next 1911!

Flawless gun! SW has transferred its revolver quality to its new 1911's. Comes with 2 Check-Mate mags which are a lot better than most other manufacturers. The dark wood grips are great looking. Wish it came with night sights and no front slide serrations, but hey.... this gun is best in show for the money!!!!

First time ordering from Bud's and had to wait on the credit card shutdown. Things were a bit bumpy but they did keep me informed via email and phone and no problems with any unauthorized charges. Will likely order again soon.

As for the S&W I put 125 rounds through it without any failures using both the included ACT mags and a single Wilson 47D loaner. Ejection pattern was a consistent 4 o'clock and 15' with very little marking of the brass. The finish, both external and internal was good, not excellent, the grip safety rubbed a tad bit (I smoothed it out), thumb safety and slide lock were leaving witness marks on the frame so they got a light stoning to the undersides to solve the issue. The new trigger solves most of the vertical travel issue and was well fit but there is still too much pretravel and creep. Rear sight worked loose after about 50 rounds, retightened without further issue. Sounds like a lot of nit picking but overall it's a well built, reliable (so far) 1911 that competes strongly with others in its price range.
