Browning 1911-22 Black Label Gray .22 LR - 3.58" Barrel, 10 Rounds

This thing rocks! My wife loves the 1911 platform (so do I for that matter), but she really loves how they shoot for her, from full size to compacts. We also love to shoot .22 and as you know they are great to train with to hone your skills. They really help you concentrate on all the fundamentals of shooting b/c of the weight and recoil differences. Now we can shoot 22 in the same "platform" and transfer that over to the larger calibers. It is small but very comfortable in the hand (same size as M&P 22 compact but narrower) and it has eaten every round we have fed through it! Everyone knows that 22 is a finicky round but this gun has put it in it's place! Federal target, Rem Thunderbolt, Winchester White box, CCI, CCI mini mag, Aquila with only one Fail to Fire (Winchester) out of 400 rounds. It was a bad round since we tried to fire it 3 times and nothing. My wife initially thought it was just "so so" b/c she wasn't accurate with it, then she realized that once she concentrated on her fundamentals (trigger finger placement, trigger squeeze, steady and firm grip and sight picture) that larger heavier guns can be more forgiving with, she started to shoot it really well. That also transferred over when we went up to the larger calibers. She saw how much of a difference it made and LOVES it now! It is so much fun to shoot and I was very impressed with it, how it handled, how it operated, how it breaks down and most of all how it shot! Yes, it is a TACK driver! When we did our part it just made one ragged hole @ 10 yds, and yes even hit a TACK at 10 yds 2 times in a row!! The only issue I had was we only had one tack! It's a little pricey for a .22 but I can honestly say it is well worth it! I'm glad the gun shop we shot at did not have one in stock b/c we would have left with another one, I think I have lost my new gun to my wife!
