Browning Buckmark 22+UDX 5.5" MT - Blue/Black, 5.5" Barrel, 10+1 Rounds, Wood Grips

My father has always had the venerable Ruger MkII .22 LR semi auto pistol....and loved shooting it but what I wanted was not readily available. I had read that the new Browning Buckmark was a worthy comparison for ergonomics, build, reliability, etc. I found this beautiful model on here and made the purchase. Just as every other firearm purchase through Buds...the transaction was smooth, quick, and as described. It is a joy to shoot and using to teach my wife how to shoot and will be for my grandson to learn how to shoot a gun as well. I currently use it when I put out traps after first of year for coyotes, raccoons, opossums, etc.....to dispatch prior to releasing footholds. Also fun plinker with the very bright fiber optic front sight.

Looks good, feels good, shoots good. Nice grips on this one. I like 5" barrel. Ideal for plinking, target & small game.

I have owned many 22 cal pistols over the years and this is by far my favorite one. You can't go worry adding this to your collection.

This is a truly awesome gun that is a blast to shoot. For a small caliber firearm, it's fairly hefty, and feels solid while handling. That heft translates to low recoil, and incredible stability/accuracy while shooting. I'm able to group more tightly and consistently at longer distances with this basic .22 than any other pistol/setup that I've used, even while rapid firing. This particular model with the wood grips is gorgeous, and is very comfortable to hold. One of the big advantages to .22 pistols is that they are so cheap to shoot. I typically will go to the range and shoot larger caliber weapons until I start to feel poor, and then I finish off the day with this. I've only used the cheapest ammo that I can find, and I yet to have a single jam with this gun. For me, the disadvantage to this gun is cleaning it. Because of the lack of disassembly, cleaning thoroughly is tedious and cumbersome. I also don't like the unidirectional clip release. It's not a big issue, but I find it to be obnoxious after using guns with ambidextrous releases. Overall this is a high quality pistol that I doubt I'll ever sell.

This is one of the best looking 22s made, and that is backed up with pinpoint accuracy and utter reliability. A stellar product from Browning.
